Bruce... we already are open enough for the muskims in the Western societies. Perhaps...just maybe... it is the time for the muslim countries to be more tolerant on THEIR SOIL toward all the non muslims. I am a fairly tolerant person but the tolerance is a two way street. If i get slapped time and again by those i am tolerant towards then you can't blame me for being against additional privilages for them and taking even a more carebear stance. Making exceptions in treatment of one religion is unacceptable

There really is no point beyond becoming a media coverage and in their mind defending the right of free speach. There were similar caseses with Jesus in some highly catholic countries and they were stormed by more fanatical catholics. To me the point in case is that some retard who has 0 success creates something highly controvensial in hopes of getting coverage and possibly interest people in other creations of this "artist". The less coverage these people get thw better, but media also want some controversy so they will have clicks/views etc.

It need definately scaling in duration or get a perk that allows you to just toggle the form for the duration of the fight. Some other scaling can be nice too

You are entering a very muddy ground with this one. For example some more orthodox catholics find public gay parades offensive. Some others find the misuse of the cross and christ offensive etc. The thing is that you cannot make exceptions for one religion and its symbols and beliefs (in this case) and exclude the from the freedom of artistic expression even if controvensial as long as it is not a "hate speech". just because showing some bad taste in creation is aimed at controversy in demographics that has high probability to bomb you it should not prevent the artist from expressing his art and showing to the world how "progresively" retarded he or she is... otherwise other religion will also want more power over the forms of expression. If you are ofended by some inanimate object then there is probably more problem with you than the retard who wants to be called an artist.

There is one thing that i dislike in the idea of paid mods... the quality control and assurance. With the games producers you have some regulations that create a legal frame for the products and the business practice. With mods it would be a headache... if i will like some awesome mod like Long War or Third Age then i will donate, but forcing me to pay up front for something that is usually work in progress and in a lot of cases quality is not high up, is simply a bad idea. I wont mind seeing paid mods on steam once the mods are out of various beta stages and were approved as working as advertised by the game developer. Yes, game dev needs to get involved into the approval process if the mod is to make money to the creator AND game dev.

Sorry for the full qoute but writing this from phone and being lazy... Arcanum had terrible combat. Not even close to simplisticly beautiful like other games. It was down right god damn awful. A single feature that made me leave the game and never return to it even though the story premise was interesting. Kotors were really fun for combat and all the animations. I really miss the aesthetic part of combat animations fro those games and NWN

TI Compendium was released so back to heavy DotA2 sessions. waiting for TW3 though and playing some campaign in Age of Wonders 3 once in a while. Or some map in Endless Legends

The spell system in grimrock just annoys me to no end. Why do i have to each time i want to use the spell click on the sequences instead.of just pre-selecting a known spell like it would be a weapon... i liked the climate etc. But that spell system is just too much. And they did not changenit for the second game... so it is stuck on my steam account.

IMO you are not fully correct about GTA there are few factors playing here as well. There are probably millions of buyers who are entering and will enter steam for a a few weeks around the release and they might buy more games ,especially from the top selling list. I would have bet that every game as big as that will bump other games sales as well even if buyers will only keep the games to play later on. Many individuals just buy stuff to satisfy an immediate urge ,a while ago I saw a statistic that showed that most buyers on steam don't finish the games they bought and sometimes wait for a long while before they start playing the games at all. It might be more relevant for sales ,but in this case I wouldn't be surprised if some of GTA buyers will buy POE as well. Otherwise it's a free publicity ,even if it only influence future sales... He is only paid for some of his "lets play" videos ,and by youtube policy he has to put a notice on the videos' description. His reviews are always true to his opinion ,but he really just loves RPGs so you will never see him give a bad score to one. You must have missed his Risen series reviews. Quite clear AngryJoe disliked those RPGS.. well they were ****, soooo.... what's the point here?

Paladins have best all around defenses if going for tank mode, sure, they MIGHT have slightly less deflection but their other defenses are through the roof along with deflection if you build it well, + it gives auras for what you need. The active abilities are meh... but if you build them around passives and auras, they can soak up any form of attack and laugh at it.

I do not mind brigadine armor being slightly worse, although it could get -5% reduction on recovery. It does synergize very well with a certain belt that boosts pierce and slash resistance, so it makes it basically better vs physical dmgs because it has higher crushing res than plate
