  1. I don't want any of them. It just feels a bit mmo like to me. The only thing I'd want is the ability for my mage to cast fiery weapon or suchlike or my thief to have poison.
  2. I can see what you are getting at. I think weapon abilities should be dependant on what they are. As an example, A claymore will crush and have a wide reach but a rapier will be fast and do bleeding damage based 'in front' attacks to one guy only.
  3. Nice! I can't believe the outpouring of love for this project (Well okay given the devs I can... ) I hope we max out the stretch goals for maximum awesome.
  4. I want it to be challenging and satisfying. I want to fail because I messed up. So yeah if that means 'hardcore' I want it.
  5. I, personally, like achievements as they sometimes prompt the player to play in a different style then they normally would or pursue things that they might not otherwise. They are also free market research for developers. I understand that they are not everyone's cup of tea though, it wouldn't be tragic to me if they weren't in the game.
  6. I'd like to see some different religious orders that you can back if there is different gods.
  7. Tbh I think Lesbians inadvertently get a lot of fanservice already just because female NPC's in some games treat the female character no different from the guy while the men all treat you like chopped liver. xD Veronica and Arcade are awesome characters and I kind of hope someone can persuade Felicia Day to do some pro bono work I agree that there should be proper representation, if the subject comes up, It shouldn't just be shoehorned in.
  8. I want to be really happy when I find a bag of gold or similar not just shrug and chuck it on the pile. Skyrim annoys the hell out of me because you have infinite moneys by the time you are like level 20.
  9. I plan to increase my pledge when I get more pennies but I would definitely pay an extra ÂŁ20 or so for a decently put together art book on top of that.
  10. I like to be able to explore at my leisure. It really annoys me when games pester me to get something done within an amount of time. It would probably ruin the game for me if those who like to poke around and enjoy the world are punished.
  11. What about if you could only relearn spells out of combat. So you would have a fight then afterwards your mages prepare their spells ready to fling. It's not perfect but it eliminates imagining your mage whining that he needs a nap every five minutes
  12. It would be nice for humans to be rare, or even outcasts for once. So like you go into a town and everyone is either mistrustful or surprised to see you.
  13. I don't know if anyone here has played a JRPG called Tales of Vesperia but now and again you can press a button (a subtle prompt appears) and your companions will have this big conversation about what is happening at the time. It's pretty fun to hear about what's going on with them and what they think.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJCD7unPau8&feature=relatedI'm sure Obsidian could do it much better of course.
  14. I agree, it's nice to roleplay and be able to keep up your character throughout the game. A text based RPG makes me very excited as there is going to be lots of room for dialogue :D Perhaps Obs could do as you said and provide us with some clue as to which personality types are available through a 'background' like in Arcanum.
  15. I made a separate topic for new game plus but yes I would love choices to be meaningful and separate plays of the game to be different. I just don't think they should pull a bioware and leave choices open ended. That just leaves the mess of pleasing everyone in a sequel.
  16. Not much more to say say than what others have said but a consistent system of spells and abilities is great for immersion.
  17. Being able to play through the game again when you have finished it with your already somewhat levelled character would be great. I really like new game plus in other games and it encourages me to play through a game more than once. This could be especially significant if the game has meaningful choices or hidden things, an option to change race would also be great but not absolutely needed. Enemies would be appropriately levelled of course.
  18. Maybe some kind of political strife, terrorism and oppression? You have to decide which side to help even though both sides have done some bad things. Helping victims of a famine? I wouldn't mind sexism, I mean I'm there to prove em wrong right? Also some poverty or economic issues would be interesting. It would be cool if humans were the ones considered the outcasts for once too instead of the elves or dwarves. That's what I can think of so far. ^^
  19. I didn't spend the entire duration of Lonesome Road getting bitched at by Ulysses about the importance of symbols and understanding their meaning to hear Mr. Chris Avellone say the logo doesn't matter. That made me laugh quite a lot for some reason All this and the fact that Ouroboros just makes me think of Red Dwarf. xD
  20. I'm apparently extremely offensive below the neck I'd like a romance but only if it adds something to the story. The Alastair romance in Dragon Age feels like part of the main plot rather than tacked on.
