  1. Basically all it is is that you won't know how much speech you need to pass a speech check, which is nice.
  2. I want a card game as a stretch goal. Feargus mentioned on the kickstarter comments that they always wanted to do that.
  3. I would say that to make them even better they ought to interact with the main story in some way and play out differently depending on what you do in the main quest and what you do within that faction or group.
  4. I like ambient chatter and stuff like that in Morrowind and BG2 and maybe voiced greetings, but I think reading is much more interactive anyways.
  5. BG2 is one of the more absurd examples, comparing something to it is unreasonable really. Fallout 1 I guess had a budget of about 3 million as well.
  6. I'd really prefer something that has the feel of a book or at least has the aesthetics of fantasy and not science fiction. Take Skyrim's UI for example. It's minimalistic, sure, but it's also very sterile and bland. I don't think you need a map, just a compass. I guess you can always customize what's viewable or invisible.
  7. That's sawyers opinion hopefully not avellones.
  8. Yes, but make it so you really have to think and ask the right questions, etc.
  9. Makin a villain you love to hate is easy making one you hate to love is harder.
  10. Well, I'd like it, at least, if it was planned from the beginning and not something just tacked on.
  11. What's it matter so much? You have Tim Cain, Chris avellone, urqhart, and josh sawyer. What more do you need to know?
  12. 25. Favorite RPG as of now is fallout new Vegas. I'm really enjoying BG2 and Planescape.
  13. Have you seen update 7 yet?
  14. If there's an island civilization, I'd love to see a ship that you can use to travel in between islands. Maybe that's outside the scope of this game though.
  15. A logical connection between the enemy and what they drop when you loot them is preferable. Skills that allow you to take additional items/parts for alchemy or crafting of some sort would be welcome too.
  16. No actual details on the house itself but quests are mentioned. A store. Wonder if it will be player owned and produce some income. Yes, I'd love to see it have some more functionality. A store would be awesome, but I'd like it if it required a bit more input from the player than just initially buying it.
  17. I'd love to see a phoenician-esque civilization.
  18. I was surprised myself with how much activity there was in the original thread.
  19. Dude add how many levels people want to the poll!!! Unfortunately I could only ask three questions for some reason.
  20. Yes! Maybe it should be a huge secret, very hard to find with clues spread throughout lore books and NPC conversations, etc. Maybe a complex puzzle to even open the door or something.
  21. I was actually going to post a thread about rock climbing and swimming so yea that would be great. I don't know how that would work in an isometric game though.
  22. I really want to know why people think that fantasy settings are exactly equivalent to the middle ages. They're not. They might look like it, but that doesn't mean that it has to exactly coincide with earth. There's magic and dragons and elves after all
  23. I wouldn't mind some ancient labyrinth or something. It should have some very difficult puzzles and hard to find secret passages, etc.
  24. The exact same thing can be said of any theistic religion. ie the christian god allowing the devil to torture job and kill everyone he loved on the whim of a bet is not very moral either You missed the point of Job entirely.
