$2.0M: so very close!
I want a card game as a stretch goal. Feargus mentioned on the kickstarter comments that they always wanted to do that.

Factions with standalone storylines - 'gameworld spice'
I would say that to make them even better they ought to interact with the main story in some way and play out differently depending on what you do in the main quest and what you do within that faction or group.

Dialog, best seen and not heard?
I like ambient chatter and stuff like that in Morrowind and BG2 and maybe voiced greetings, but I think reading is much more interactive anyways.
-
scale and scope of the project
BG2 is one of the more absurd examples, comparing something to it is unreasonable really. Fallout 1 I guess had a budget of about 3 million as well.

How should the UI look?
I'd really prefer something that has the feel of a book or at least has the aesthetics of fantasy and not science fiction. Take Skyrim's UI for example. It's minimalistic, sure, but it's also very sterile and bland. I don't think you need a map, just a compass. I guess you can always customize what's viewable or invisible.

Please don't ban exposition from dialouge
That's sawyers opinion hopefully not avellones.
- Series of Detective/Investigative Quests
- What makes a villain you love to hate?

Mega dungeon (didn't see anyone make it a poll and Obsidian said it'd be a good idea to do a poll...)
Well, I'd like it, at least, if it was planned from the beginning and not something just tacked on.

Tell me about the Developers
What's it matter so much? You have Tim Cain, Chris avellone, urqhart, and josh sawyer. What more do you need to know?
- How old is everyone?

On class inequality
Have you seen update 7 yet?

2.0 million, Player House!
If there's an island civilization, I'd love to see a ship that you can use to travel in between islands. Maybe that's outside the scope of this game though.

Which items should enemies drop
A logical connection between the enemy and what they drop when you loot them is preferable. Skills that allow you to take additional items/parts for alchemy or crafting of some sort would be welcome too.

2.0 million, Player House!
No actual details on the house itself but quests are mentioned. A store. Wonder if it will be player owned and produce some income. Yes, I'd love to see it have some more functionality. A store would be awesome, but I'd like it if it required a bit more input from the player than just initially buying it.

Factions and Civilizations
I'd love to see a phoenician-esque civilization.

Mega dungeon (didn't see anyone make it a poll and Obsidian said it'd be a good idea to do a poll...)
I was surprised myself with how much activity there was in the original thread.

Mega dungeon (didn't see anyone make it a poll and Obsidian said it'd be a good idea to do a poll...)
Dude add how many levels people want to the poll!!! Unfortunately I could only ask three questions for some reason.

Mega dungeon (didn't see anyone make it a poll and Obsidian said it'd be a good idea to do a poll...)
Yes! Maybe it should be a huge secret, very hard to find with clues spread throughout lore books and NPC conversations, etc. Maybe a complex puzzle to even open the door or something.

What are your thoughts on adding a mega-dungeon to the game?

Movement: walking, flying, digging, jumping, climbing, swimming
I was actually going to post a thread about rock climbing and swimming so yea that would be great. I don't know how that would work in an isometric game though.
- Mega-dungeons. I want one. With tunnels.

Update #5 - Souls, Technology, and Adventuring Companies
The exact same thing can be said of any theistic religion. ie the christian god allowing the devil to torture job and kill everyone he loved on the whim of a bet is not very moral either You missed the point of Job entirely.
