So here we are two days after the kickstarter launch. Now that I've had time to consider oldmanpaco's arguments, he does make valid points. Yes we don't know much, and some of the stretch goals are bizarre in how they are being presented. However, I'm not even close to considering removing my pledge. But this does underscore that Obsidian may have fumbled a bit. They were obviously scrambling when hey announced their stretch goals, and may have asked for too little with 1.1 million, thereby hindering potential momentum for greater funding.

The key to getting more pledges is to get more publicity and press. Not just from the gaming websites, but also like Reddit, slashdot, uncrate etc. If they get featured in mainstream newspapers and magazines, they'll get a huge bump.

Kickstarter is totally draining on my bank account: Project Eternity Shadowrun Deadstate Wasteland 2 Double Fine Adventure Banner Saga Plus a game console, shirt and tie, pants, another tie, a photo lab, and a wristwatch.

I will up my pledge if there is a Dwarf Tossing mini-game.

Anyone know the budget for IWD/IWD2? Account for the labor cost and inflation, as the development timeframe appears roughly the same.

I hope racism is deeply ingrained and an accepted part of the world culture with none of the touches of modern 21st century western moral relavatism seeping in.

Visceris, Rabbit, Hades, Sand, Rabbit, was a contrarian and habitual flip flopper to a fault, but he was ubiquitous and was generally very likeable. He was our Cliff Claven/Norm so to speak. Calling him a nuisance is a stretch. A minor troll at worst.
