  1. I still have the feeling that Cleveland is going to turn it around. Never count out Lebron. But it would make for good sports talk radio if Lebron were to bounce. ... Warriors - Raptors play tonight. My prediction:
  2. Getting around to playing Dvinity: Original Sin to see what all the hubbub is about. Combat is super fun. Art style is meh.
  3. Time to unleash the Lebron Conspiracy Brigade. http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/2qxt0i/listen_to_this_link_carefully_did_lebron_say_to/
  4. "Is there one-handed Pistols / Dual'Guns ?" You won't be able to dual wield pistols. Firearms also take a long time to reload. Additionally, in the game world, guns haven't spread into the mainstream as massed-produced infantry weapons. Don't think anyone has of yet invented the volley fire drill.
  5. Posted from Jim Harbaugh's son's Facebook account. He later claimed he got hacked. This may be a long read, but it will be worth it. I promise. By all I'm sure you've all heard the news that we won't be back in SF next season. My dad was told the Monday following the loss in Seattle that he would not be back in 2015. I wish you could've been told then. It obviously wasn't my place to break the news. I know there have been months of rumors and speculation leading up to this over the course of a year so I just want to make sure you all know the whole story. You need to first realize that my dad loved this city and team. He chose to coach here for a reason 3 years ago. He believed they could go far. It's why leaving is so difficult. You also need to know that he would've stayed if he could have. Unfortunately, he wasn't given such an option, and was disappointed by that. There have been hundreds of reports from journalists each with varying reasons on why he was leaving/what the locker room atmosphere was like. Those people know nothing more than the average person about what goes on behind closed doors. They're in the business of looking for drama and stirring up controversy. I can't blame them. It's in their job description. That being said, I've yet to see a single article that truly depicted the real story. Last summer a story came out about a potential head coach trade with the Cleveland Browns. If that seemed like it came out of left field for you, it did for us too. It was brought up by someone in the Browns front office who we knew, but it was a one sided conversation. The idea wasn't even entertained. Yet the media fed off of it, and created a story line where there was no story, and thus, we came into the current season with questions regarding my dads future with the team. Like the trade rumors, reports of locker room discontent also came as a shock. Nothing I saw in 3 years of being at the facility, on the team plane, and in the locker room at games ever even suggested anything of the sort. I don't care to point fingers because in the end it doesn't really matter who planted the rumors. The mere fact that they existed is enough. All I'll say is it wasn't a player or analyst as most have said. Look up what happened with Jimmy Johnson and the Cowboys for reference. This is a talented team, and I believe they can still win. Injuries plagued us in a year that could've been special. The fans have sometimes forgotten that, and placed too much unnecessary criticism on the players we did have that stepped up or played through injury. However, there are still deep rooted problems in SF that need to be fixed to win the sixth Super Bowl. I'll just list a few of them to make this brief. The front office We were aware and were told about the reputation of the teams front office when we came...we are well aware now. Stadium There was no consistent home field advantage at Levi's stadium this year. I desperately wanted there to be one, but honestly, if I were on any other team, I'd love to play against our team there. You can blame the design, but it really starts with the fans. If you ever want to win at home next year and beyond YOU HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR SEATS IN THE SECOND HALF AND BE LOUD THE WHOLE TIME, NOT JUST ON THIRD DOWN WHEN THE TEAM IS AHEAD. It was dead silent at times when the opposing team was on offense. Trust me, u despised teams like the Seahawks and Saints, but their fans are loud from start to finish. They really do make an impact. It's possible here too. Keep Frank Gore No one wants to win/cares as much about football as much as Frank. He was my favorite player on the team. Sign him. The front office We were aware and were told about the reputation of the teams front office when we came...we are well aware now. I have respect for everyone there don't get me wrong, but I don't feel the season needed to end this way. Lastly I just want everyone to think before you point fingers and blindly just throw criticism around. Everyone in the 49er organization had the same record for the past 3 years. Winning or losing is a team effort, and can never be put on a single person. All of this stuff you've been saying around around about the unwillingness to fire assistant coaches leading to us leaving and my dad losing interest to coach just isn't true. He fought with maximum effort and intensity till the very end. I always tell my dad about the good things you all have to say. Your support doesn't go unnoticed. I wish you all the best and I hope the team be successful in the future for the sake of the fans. This city deserves it. Thank you for a four amazing years. WHOS GOT IT BETTER THAN US?
  6. Arquebus, blunderbuss, and pistol.
  7. It's confirmed. Looks like Jim Harbaugh is going back to Ann Arbor. Would have been very intriguing if he were to take the Raiders job instead.
  8. Agreed. Survival mechanics work in the Fallout setting since its one of the series' constant themes. This doesn't apply here.
  9. Lanfear was a German poster who was active in the Black Isle boards during the development of BG2. She was absolutely in love with Coran. Well, Dave Gaider wrote a story arc involving a love triangle involving Coran, Safana, and Lanfear. The quest line essentially ended up with Coran getting murdered. When the real Lanfear found out, she threw a big hissy fit and left the boards dramatically. Personally I though it was hilarious -both the inside joke quest and the ensuing board drama.
  10. I would hesitate in petitioning Obsidian to include people, places, memorials etc., as lots of backers pledged good money for these rewards. That being said, Obsidian can add whatever and whoever they want as Easter Eggs or memorials. Visceris in particular comes to mind.
  11. Is it bad that I would love to see something similar to what they did with Lanfear? I think it's safe to say that Sensuki has both a better sense of humor and thicker skin than Lanfear ever did. That lady was nuts.
  12. ...seems a little bit different from how I remember it. Can't put my finger on why though...
  13. They don't appear when you are in the leveling up process, but they are applied on the character sheet.
  14. Picking up Xenonauts!
  15. That looks like a promising mod.
  16. Well, they did try with Jesse Cox play through a few weeks back. Granted he only has 700,000 YouTube subscribers compared to TB's 1.8 million...
  17. Lot of the talent who created the classic BioWare games are no longer freezing their arses off in Edmonton. This would include the major brain trusts such as the Doctors, James Ohlen, Scott Greig, Trent Oster, Casey Hudson, and many others. #BioWareInNameOnly.
  18. Do I sense a challenge for someone to post their playthrough on twitch or youtube under stated conditions after the game releases?
  19. Have to give credit to your Grizzlies. Ended a red hot Golden State 16 game winning streak and beat the Spurs in triple overtime at San Antonio. Impressive. Conley and Gasol have definitely stepped it up this year.
  20. Adam Brennecke's tweet: @adam_brennecke: We have a new Beta patch landing today for #PillarsOfEternity! As always, has lots of great fixes and new things to check out.
  21. Reassuring to know I'm not the only one.
  22. The Memphis - Golden State matchup should be good. Hopefully Bogut is able to come back from the game. ... The Kings though. To the wide shock of the NBA and media community, Sacramento fired Mike Malone, who is universally thought of as a very good coach, and had this team compete beyond expectation. So it seems Vivek Ranadive and his management team wants to implement the philosophical principles they've tested out for their D-League team the Reno Big Horns. This is a lab experiment in which they: 1) Average 140pts a game 2) Shoot 50 threes a game 3) Run a full time Full Court Press 4) Constantly leave behind a cherry picker - in essence playing a 4 on 5 defense I don't know if I'm hoping whether they succeed or fail.
  23. Ok. I'll take the bait. - Indonesia is a thousand+ island archipelago consisting of hundreds of languages and dozens of ethnic groups and religions of which Islam is the dominant religion. - This one, particular region (Aceh) is/was under dispute and the usage of heavy handed tactics by both the central government and rebel factions have led to a very precarious situation which was ripe for exploitation by fundamentalist elements. You can't use Aceh as a valid representative for the rest of Indonesia, which happens to be the fourth largest country (by population) in the world. There's a ton of things wrong with Indonesia; corrupt government, wide stratification between rich and poor, terrible infrastructure, etc.,..but Indonesians are generally very moderate and a significant percentage of that are muslim in name only. I know this from first hand experience having lived there for five years. And believe me, I definitely stood out in the crowd.
  24. Left or even centered would be better. Making the UI positioning customizable would be ideal.
