  1. Personally, I'd rather just play the game myself and not be exposed to spoilers.
  2. Like GHz on CPU's, or AMPS in speakers, the memory numbers on modern video cards are a little bit misleading. Your video card is a little dated, but it'll run the game.
  3. To be fair...Lance did end up with a bloody mouth out of that. He definitely sold it as Barnes got called for the foul. Haha.
  4. Hmm...maybe I should read more gooder.
  5. The IE games essentially popularized the stigma against fetchy "FedEx" quests. They were ubiquitous.
  6. That's Brandon Adler. Josh is J.E. Sawyer.
  7. Me too, preferably with a well-spoken slightly introspective female player to whom reading comprehension and gameplay exploration come naturally. Who was that young lady they had before, the Gamescom edition, she was pleasant and easy on the ears. This one?
  8. Yep. The Scripted Interactions are really impressive in execution.
  9. We know in that in atleast one instance, they can make a check based on your inventory and class. e.g., if you have an axe, you can chuck it at an enemy, or if your are a spellcaster, you can zap him.
  10. Wow. That was...off-putting.
  11. Well...this escalated real quickly into a sausage measurement contest.
  12. Now? People have been calling it XBone since it launched. Obviously I haven't kept up with the lingo. Ok. Seems legit on urban dictionary.
  13. I don't see why not. Your CPU and RAM meets more than the minimum system specs. Your GPU is a Shader 4 model, and the disk drive shouldn't be a problem.
  14. "Preloaded GTA 5 on the XBone." XBone. Is that the accepted shorthand for it now?
  15. I didn't enjoy KotOR on the iPad at all.
  16. Shevek, although I don't play the IE games, or even the Eternity beta nearly so passively, I find your videos to be informative and illuminating. Like some here, I do find that the combat movement speed to be too fast, but your handling of trash mobs through the use of thoughtful build design gives credence that combat gameplay isn't broken, as others have asserted otherwise.
  17. The gameplay stream and the new trailer actually did its job for me and makes me even more pumped up for the full game. And I'm in the beta, fully cognizant of how much improvement the gameplay needs.
  18. There are actually some gameplay videos posted on YouTube specifically concerning the monk that you can view. These should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

  20. That's funny. Adam Brennecke's tweet: @adam_brennecke: I hope the backer that really wanted people hanging from trees in #PillarsOfEternity is completely satisfied with the trailer.
  21. Get over yourselves. Is he a hardcore cRPG grognard? No. But he has a decent enough rep around the general gaming community and people sem to enjoy his persona. I found the stream to be entertaining enough and he has a sizable following on his Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch accounts. If it draws views, it draws views.
  22. In yesterday's twitch-stream, Josh Sawyer stated that they would not be including AI party scripts for release as it would be (and I'm paraphrasing based on memory) too daunting a task for the current resources they have left to allocate.
  23. King of Dragon Pass is absolutely brilliant. The X-COM port is well done as well.
