Making deconstructed span musubis. Seared spam, nori, and teriyaki sauce over rice.

Question is, can Del Rio, being a former LB and obvious defense guy, be the right HC to mold Carr into a star QB? Over say, a Mike Shanahan? The 49er situation is still bizarre. Tomsula was in no one else's radar and after the PR fiasco after dumping Harbaugh, they pass over Vic Fangio and go with their DL coach. It's hard for me to give Jed York or Trent Baalke the benefit of the doubt.

Guess the release date!

It's called strategery. Carrion feeders are probably my spirit-kin. Anyways, going by the spirit of the "contest" --nobody legitimately guessed the correct date. Maybe choose a date for going gold on the physical copies? -
Jim Tomsula to be promoted as San Francisco's HC. Don't think both Bay Area teams coordinated timing of announcements.

Update #88: Final Sprint and... Release Date!

They still need to tighten up the graphics on level 3. -
The best part of Arcanum is character creation. Which was absolutely sublime. Unfortunately, the rest of the game never really matched its initial promise. I suppose Arcanum was a microcosm of Troika in general. So much heart, potential, and ideas to be truly great. Baseball analogy alert: Superb minor league 5-Tool prospect that could never put it all together in the show.

Jack Del Rio got the Oakland job. Nothing exciting there.

Any word on when more zones will be available to test?
Leferd replied to knightguy's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
Which begs the question, what is their cutoff date for submitting their final release candidate for the physical versions when they have to go gold? -

I would imagine there would be. I'm suspecting that there should atleast be a backer beta build concurrent with the gold master version for the physical copies. -
Are you sure you actually activated slow mode? Because slow mode to me seems really slow - as in slow motion slow.

I see your fascination with rodents extends to rat shaman avatars.

Well...techinically, I was the first one who wrote down March 26th on this thread... -
question re steam keys
Leferd replied to snow0815's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
It depends on a few different factors, but mostly it has to do with what tier your have. The higher cost tiers did come with digital copies. The basic boxed copy off of the Backer Portal does not come with a digital version. Thank you. If I decide to buy an Extra Ditial Download Add-On, do I get a choice of the service I will get it on or does it default to Steam? Or will Obsidian provide the download through their own site? (The same question would go for the DD of the expansion I ordered along with the physical copy) All digital downloads that go through our Backer Portal will get the choice of where they would like to redeem their copy. Currently that is Steam or GOG, but we are looking into adding more places to that list. -

March 26. Who wins? -
not true on both accounts. and no, I won't provide a prooflink, I don't keep an RPGCodex.txt, but I've seen stuff you mention happen not true on both accounts. and no, I won't provide a prooflink, I don't keep an RPGCodex.txt, but I've seen stuff you mention happen Well, certain codexians will equally call you out for both your ideas and on who you are. Very little is really off limits. It's not quite at 4chan levels, but it has gone down that road at times.

Games Workshop's whoring out of the Warhammer license continues. This time they can finally deliver the bug-filled, utterly broken experience their fans have been craving by partnering with Creative Assembly! OH SNAP!

Total War: Warhammer? http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?677233-Total-War-WARHAMMER-officially-revealed There have been rumors before, but this seems solid.

It simply shouldn't be taken seriously. Codex hates Bioware, they still have flashbacks and cold sweats about voting DAO as their game of the year. If DAI were a masterpiece reflecting the best bits of Codex approved RPG classics like PST, Fallout, Arcanum, VtMB, Gone Home, JA2 and BG2 it still wouldn't get voted highly, if it were objectively crap it wouldn't get voted highly. Your own words disprove your opinion though. If Codex hates Bioware so much (and it has plenty of reason to, their games were from mediocre to crap for the last decade) why would they vote DAO GOTY 2009? It didn't even touch PST, Fallout, Arcanum, VtMB, Gone Home, JA2 and BG2, yet Codex kinda liked it. Even the ones that didn't they admited it was better than anything Bioware has done since ToB. And Codex's disaproval of Bioware begins with NWN. So if they gave DAO GOTY prize, it means they are more objective than you give them credit for. To be fair, the Codex "awarded" DAO essentially by default. http://www.rpgcodex.net/content.php?id=198 To quote: The process of selecting the title for RPG of the year goes something like this: Were any RPGs actually released this year? Were any of them released in English? Give the English one the award.

Backing in good faith. I like their first game and Dragonfall was quite good.
