Your specs are on the low side and may not necessarily meet the minimum suggested requirements. You can certainly try with what you have but a PC upgrade is probably a good idea.

Aside from South Park and Broken Age, I have not played any of those games. And even with those two, I think I have barely an hour played on both combined, according to Steam.
Things were much simpler back in 2004 when BioWare was the savior and we were promised that we could enslave nations with necromancy, James Ohlen was lead designer, and Dragon Age was a PC exclusive with a tactical party based isometric combat view.
If they stay true to the spirit of the books, they'll most likely go in a serialized anthology format. Each story could take anywhere from one episode (Hari Seldon's trial) to a whole season (The Mule/Bayta Darell).
