I liked Gothic 2 the most. What's funny is that I liked Gothic 3 for the most part, but some little and not-so-little things just irked me so much I lost the will to paly it. The end(?) of Lee's subplot, the silly paladin armors after G2's gorgeous full plates, the You Won't Get A Single Hint quests, the one man sieges against orc cities... Still, I did enjoy it most of the time.

Hmm, thanks. I was considering checking the other games out, but I'M not going to buy 3 different systems for that.

So this Shantae is a game series? This isn't the first game?

Could be that "High prestige = Higher tax income" is simply because more people are drawn to your lands because you are so awesome. More inhabitants means more tax payers means more revenue. Also, I don't think people mind high taxes that much provided the government doesn't take so much that people fall below the poverty line, isn't corrupt or doesn't just keep all that tax money for itself. If a high tax rate goes together with serious investments in infrastructure, affordable education and healthcare, a sold social safety net and so on, people won't complain that much (although they will complain because people are people) simply because they obviously get something in return for the taxes they pay. Actually, one of our kings here in the 16th century had the highest taxes (in our history, or relative to every contemporary nation, that I don't know), but nobody cared because people had the money to pay it.

One more complaint was that the lore contradicted some established stuff. I liked Tactics, and it's demo was what introduced me to Fallout.

Stronghold sounds cool, looking forward to it. I hope the NPCs inside will have character, like that second in command lady in NwN2. Oh and distributable guards. "All of them patrol the road, the mage will protect the castle just fine." This suggests to me that all party members will earn experience individually, rather than all my companions always being the same level as my main character (or a level or two lower or higher because of race level adjustment) like in NWN2? Am I correct in my assumption? (I hope so, because I am all for this) I think they said somewhere that chillaxing companions will earn a fraction of the active characters' xp.

Much easier to get lost in the Obsidian cookie cutter interiors than in the desert, atleast for me. They need better world builders, badly. Yeah, I would love for Bethesda to get Obz's writing talents and Obsidian to get Beth's world design talent and then Bio's engine stability (at least for me).. mmmmm Yep, because those metro tunnels were soooo much fun..

Personally, I'm not sure. I don't mind pronounciation per se, but when I see names like 'K'hyyyktsheszmri', I just stop reading and roll my eyes.

After seeing The Avengers last week, I have to say: You've no idea what you're talking about. But hey, even if it was bad humor, it'd be still better than the I'm-so-zany/meme-bait referencial stuff everyone is doing nowadays.

Besides GW2, started playing MechWarrior Online again. My new Dragon is strong and piss weak at the same time.

I liked the video interview (also, nice helmet design in the background), it actually looks promising.
