  1. Finally hoarded enough gold to get the Gold Hoarder ach in GW2, and now I could buy the armor I've set my sights on:
  2. I don't know if the protagonist switching will be fun, but it's certainly interesting.
  3. 5 bucks. It's more of the same so probably not worth it for you. It's not bad, but some of the stories are too short, while one is 7 mins padding, 1 min setup and 1 minute resolution. Oh and some of the "endings" are, well, weird.
  4. Turns out the new Walking Dead DLC is out today. Then it turns out I uninstalled the game at some point. 4000 megabytes later...
  5. Tried the demo of RE:Revelations and can't tell if I like it or not. The creepy empty corridors were scary, promising death from every blind spot and the first enemy was very well presented - You enter a showering room and instantly hear a quiet moan. If you go forward, there's the treath of the thing grabbing you immediately, but you can't just sit in the corner either. Good thing it's stupid and reveals itself when you get near enough. On the other hand, the B.O.W.s aren't scary themselves and the only thing keeping me on edge was the prospect of a second one creeping up behind me. Oh and the good old "previously empty rooms now have monsters in it" shtick, but at least these guys have the excuse of sliming around in the vents. I guess it still has atmosphere, and my low fear tolerance wouldn't let me play a scarier game anyway. (I uninstalled the RE2 demo back in the day right after installing it when I felt like replaying )
  6. The game is confirmed to be soloable, but it's going to be hard and you'll need the knowledge benefit of previous playthroughs.
  7. Primordia, Tale, Primordia! Though I guess it would depend on how you define 'mystery'.
  8. You aren't supposed to save them all. Your job is to save as many as you can.
  9. If memory serves they set the release date when the KS campaign began. The game got 400% funding and a lot of extra stuff added to it. Of course adding more features would take them longer.
  10. RoM: The MMO is actually Allods Online.
  11. I see they made her more sellable (read: prettier).
  12. I'd like to, but I just don't have the time for another MMO.
  13. My favourite is "intellectually dishonest". If you want to call someone a liar, just say so. Being intellectually dishonest is not the same thing as lying. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellectual_honesty Obviously citation is a pipe dream (and probably shouldn't be necessary anyway) on a casual internet forum, but it's not lying to present things in a biased way (not factoring in that sometimes it's born out of ignorance). Then the person who used this didn't know what it means either. Here onn the DS3 subforums, btw.
  14. It's still a dumb expression.

  16. Yep, read it all. This guy seriously sounds like he has no idea what he's doing. He just imagined The Perfect Game in his mind and is throwing in all the Cool S*** he can come up with without rhyme or reason. And of course his whole team is right behind him 100% no disputes at all. And orks aren't like that at all! The only thing that sounds promising right now is the medal and gear blinging.
  17. I'd like that, though I'm not sure if IG and sneaking really mix. I'm imagining something along the early Resident Evils's lines, Enemies can be beaten but you're vulnerable and they are vastly stronger.
  18. I was busy so reading the interview in chunks and just got to the free player orks.. Wow, that guy is an idiot. A moron, in fact. Good thing paying players are all intelligent and well behaved. Also not prone to elitist a-hole behavior!
  19. Another thing is what the guy described so far is pretty much GW2 Realm vs Realm and that didn't work there. He may image RvR as a nice military movie where awesome war happens, but players will be sitting in a game with game rules. Huge zerg that can't follow any order more complex than "Attack this." (Arguably) Borderline exploitive equipment placement (GW2 had a spot where a trebuchet could hit a spot while being outside of the range of enemy trebs, thanks to elevation). Etc. Though if they can pull if off, yay, I'd be happy to see that.
  20. I find the idea interesting, but I wonder how they're planning to address the fact that smurfs are by far the most popular faction and they'll have players in the droves? The lore-wise smallest faction? Also, Tau plox. Don't care about the standard races much.
