  1. The Kingdom of Ehb was a pretty lame setting (but nothing worse than Dragon Age), I don't even remember finding more than 5 lore books. The second game took place in the rest of the continent & added a ton of history and lore. Still, DS did the 'ancient evil returns' shtick way better than Dragon Age... and has a much better Archdemon as well.
  2. Postal & Far Cry are way better. DS movie has some cool fight scenes and Claire Forlani, but those are about the only redeeming qualities. Still, the movie's complete lack of focus & plot is remarkable close to the actual DS game. The DS game seemed to make up the plot at the spot as one trounched baddies... "oh yeah, you just killed a dragon, now go further east for more answers"... "so after killing the evil Seck Necromancer, the heroes decided to go to the Temple of Doom to investigate", etc.
  3. If it were Dark Alliance III or Champions of Norrath III, it would be a pretty much guaranteed smash hit.
  4. I'm actually interested in it. It might be the same experience as with Fallout 3 for me.
  5. This has got to be Glacern. Heh, even Ron Perlman was in that movie.
  6. So, does it or does it not look Deus Ex enough?
  7. Dungeon Siege II's combat is pretty much the same as Dragon Age, it just doesn't suffer from the acute lack of enemy variety and the inability to have more than ten enemies on the screen at the same time. Moreover the boss fights are a hell of a lot more memorable. The expansion was meh, but at least it wrapped everything up nicely. Dungeon Siege had screensaver combat, but some brilliantly designed dungeons & an amazing variety in breath-taking scenery. The beginning of the game was also classic, starting as a farmer who literally throws away his/her shovel and starts kicking butt with a butter-knife. And speaking of the Farmer: **** yeah.
  8. I would've been excited about this four years ago.
  9. I remember Leland spouting "The only thing more lucrative than a war, is a cold war". Or something.
  10. The Heavy Inciniterator is pretty much a Flamer Minigun. Hopefully, the Alien Blaster: My favourite tool to swiftly off the ubiquitous Giant Radscorpion.
  11. Some people spend too much time on 4gifs.
  12. Captain America, Thor... Avengers movies?! WTF? Of all the cool Marvel superheroes, they pick the lamest ones possible? Captain Britain & Excalibur are the real deal:
  13. Don't make me link to Leliana's song, bro.
  14. Lol @ transhumanism bull****. Will I be able to play as a chick in this game? Not interested in playing some fugly Solid Snake knock-off, sorry.
  15. If BP doesn't start doing something, it might look like this in two months:
  16. I wonder if they had planned this expansion all along, or made it to satisfy the crybabies that couldn't take an ending where the hero doesn't save the world. "Left in a bit of a pickle", har har.

  18. Sheer madness.

I suddenly got vibes of Indiana Jones & Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

That wouldn't be very in line with the spy theme, imo. Look at how many chicks James Bond bedded over the years, without consequence. And then when he actually got married, his wife immediately got blown away by Blofeld. Similar things happened to Bauer & Bourne.

Isn't this possible in Fable 2?
