  1. The last dungeon crawler Fargo churned out was only playable because of the great voice acting, humour & charisma of the main protagonist, which this Demon Forge thingie seems to completely lack. Add a Dwarf as comic relief to the current bland duo and I might start to become interested.
  2. Will the game be actually based on the books, or just use the setting?
  3. That screenie reminds me of Mont Saint-Michel.
  4. Good idea. Someone should start photoshopping from here. Clipping errors ftw.
  5. Look out for this one that is finally internationally released (German devs are absolute **** at international marketing, it seems): Best adventure game I played since Syberia, a mix of The longest journey & Monkey Island. Quite brilliant.
  6. Only fun thing about Portal is putting two portals directly above each other and stepping through.
  7. I've been stuck in Room #457 for years.
  8. Radon Labs made insolvent: http://www.buffed.de/buffed/news/14938/Rad...et-Insolvenz-an FFFFUUUUUUUUUU
  9. Are you playing with Ascension? The ending fight of SoA is pretty hilarious then. "Give me back my Cloak of Cheese!"
  10. Tali is basically a walking Codex entry. I bet nobody even talks to her anymore after finishing the game once (of course, that is probably true for all companions).
  11. Is it possible to run older games (pre 2000, like Baldur's Gate) on this operating system?
  12. Apparently there was an ROTC student who got suspended for removing a Mexican flag which was flying above the American flag, which is a violation of protocol. I heard that on the radio but couldn't find the story to link to. Suspended because he didn't just burn the flag?
  13. I think the way things are evolving, or rather devolving, the entirety of Western Europe will eventually turn into Lebanon during the 80s.
  14. Argentina had a **** team in '86, but one star player. Even in '90 they still reached the finals, where they were cheated. History might just repeat itself.
  15. There's one thing for sure: this would not have happened in Texas.
  16. In the Netherlands, Theo van Gogh was brutally murdered on the street. The Danish cartoonist was nearly murdered after a muslim broke into his house, but he could lock himself and his family into the bathroom. Recently, Belgium has had our own incident when a speaker in the university of Antwerp was disrupted by a nice group called "Sharia4Belgium": Basically for muslims freedom of speech only counts when it can be (ab)used to spread their 'religion of peace'. But strictly speaking, as long as islam remains locked in their medieval viewpoint, there is nothing in western culture that isn't an insult to them.
  17. You're aware that Hindu/Sikh violence has been widespread in India? I had thought it was rather Hindu/Muslim in India. But I was speaking about Hinduists in Western Europe.
  18. I thought that mod was a deliberate satire of the BioWare obsession with romances.
  19. A reason why I appreciate Hinduism, is that some gods in that religion are, in fact, human-faced dogs among many other things. They have no reason to throw tantrums.
  20. Muslims won the Battle of Tours after all, 1278 years after date.
  21. Hey, at least it beats the Saerileth mod. I've no clue what you're talking about. "Saerileth is a 15-year-old human paladin of Tyr. She hails from Mount Celestia in the Outer Planes. She is young, romanceable (for good-aligned humans, elves, and half-elves), and beautiful. She is complete through ToB, and she has quests and a flirt/chatpack. She brings with her three new areas for SoA, two SoA quests, and a ToB quest. Saerileth is a young woman of deep religious conviction and certainty. She has extensive voicing, banters, and interjections. And Saerileth will love you like no other. We hope you will play her mod repeatedly." http://www.gilalion.com/saerilethmod.htm
  22. The first Drakensang had the following DRM: a missing quest NPC if the game was pirated, making it impossible to continue. The sequel, River of Time, uses something similar (making it possible to revive characters that fell in battle). It also caused pirates to flood the forum and whine about a buggy game, which was hilarious.
  23. Hey, at least it beats the Saerileth mod.
