Figures Issue
no1fanboy replied to Kamil85's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
lol this is probably the funniest post ever @op In the latest patch 1.02 they nerfed figurines to a certain amount of limited charges LOL you have to find another way to beat the game now while cheesing try ciphers ringleader or the wizards terror spells good luck -
That's true, and I think a big part of game design in general is covering it up. Most video games ultimately constitute a sequence of fetch and/or murder quests, but it's the aesthetics that are important. The Witcher series has a very particular, well-crafted aesthetic - a mix of "dark" fantasy (and remember, when the first Witcher came out, dark fantasy was even more popular than it is now), open-world gameplay elements, evocative retelling of sword-and-sorcery tropes, and ultra-masculine physical, intellectual, emotional and sexual power fantasy. But Deadfire can be broken down in the same way, as can any other game. If one or more of those things hooks you, the game is going to feel substantial. If none of them do ... yeah, it's gonna feel like busywork. Yeah right GTA5 definetely 100% doesnt feel like go to X and do Y Like no where near it Its budget was something like what $50,000,000 million though 50 mil aint bad lol EDIT it actualy cost $278 million lol so says Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_video_games_to_develop apparantley GTA5 made more money then the entire music industry in sales the year it was released . WOW https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/09/28/gta-5-sales-hit-1-billion.aspx

so why all the hype about witcher 3 then I have been told it is a good game I have been playing it for the last 4 days It is honestly very boring. Every single part of the game is just go to X and do Y. Over and over and over and over. Different monsters but still go to X and do Y Sh$t game hey like a terrible game. Only a 4 year old child would find the mindless braindead monster hunt enjoyable

Can you please post your address on this thread so i can mail you a bouquet of flowers? This would have to be 100% the best balancing decision you at Obsidian have ever made. Before the nerf i just put up a wall of monsters to act as a buffer from protecting my party from damage and crowd control spells just about every fight. It was incredibly effective and it made me lazy. Every fight was just summon monsters, buff rinse and repeat. Now that i dont have that luxury i have had to be more inventive and fight more Intelligently to win battles. I have found that i am using spells, new combinations and abilities that i have never had to use before. I am finding that since the nerf I am using alot of spells that focus and crowd control and debuffing that i would never have used before. Absolutely great decision and thankyou so much for this smart move. Now all you have to do is fix Paladins and you are back in my good books.

1.Find a bottleneck on the map somewhere close to where the enemies are 2. Leave the bulk of your party members at the bottleneck with ranged weapons equipped 3. Have your tank (eder) start combat and then run back to the bottleneck 4. Have your tank engage the enemies at the bottleneck so they cant reach your ranged characters 5. For extra hard fights make sure your tank has all the healing potions equipped and keep healing the tank with a healer Later on when you get a mage cast chillfog and combusting wounds in front of your tank Its called CHEESE

I have that tab opened all the time ^^ Yes and no)It definitely has a great impact (and especially if solo'ing). Using it might feel even a little cheap. But have to note that by the time I got it (in my last playthrough with a 5-man party), I no longer needed it. I actually even avoided using Ringleader, because it was faster to kill enemies while they were susceptible to foe aoes. yeah i had that issue in POE1 where charming enemies only accomplished dragging the fight out for longer as i was able to kill them easily anyway I am finding Deadfire on POTD without blessings a far harder game then POE1 though. Especially after they nerfed figurines. So now i would say that ringleader has the potential to totaly change the course of even the most difficult battles if its lands succesfully. A cipher with the +10 acc vs will passive using ringleader is a beast.

Try that and tell me if is a little better Extract in override folder and enable it via Mod Manager inside the game(create this folder in Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data if you haven't it) https://mega.nz/#!m0AGUQpK!29YgNHmgMiDItB73t8KjJx2OEWvswbQpp-UyJV5ixtI reduced health gained to 210 and health subtracted to 70 in reviving exhortation, also added a bonus of 15% action speed with hastening exhortation (like DAoM) Legend thanks

I have been told that the beserker subclass benefit of the extra +30% hit to crit is actually worse then an extra +10 accuracy bonus. Makes sense beacuse accuracey vs deflection is how the crit calculation works So dont roll beserkers you will be far better off with a fighter with the fighters starting ability that buffs acc and hit to crit and you dont get confused
