  1. I'm sure I won't bother with it in PotD. Doing it on Veteran was enough for one lifetime. The Ooze bites the dust. Very easy, second try. It took about 30 mins but i played it safe, i took my time to setup my buffs. After you kill off one of the small ones pretty much all the danger goes away. Just spam hammer when they split, chillfog to blind them and slicked just incase. If you need help with damage the pillar spam ftw.
  2. The club is only for getting +25% damage from the curse, after that switching to the bow, yes. I have no idea how you did this fight in 1 hour, your accuracy must be a lot higher for some reason (maxed Per?), because my wall misses a lot vs Doru and after 1 hour my Unbending duration is at 80 secs which is hardly enough to even visibly damage his hp bar. With the belt I need several seconds to accomplish what took an hour without the blight. My accuracy against vessels was around 145 i think. Maxed perception yes, potion of deftness, all possible world buffs, but i think you had those too, +3acc gloves. 132 base accuracy + 10 for vessels from the necklace and 5 from potion of deftness. thats 147 acc. 13 base penetration +2 from penetration potion and +3 from penetrating strike, so thats 18 pen, more than enough. Also used potion of prefect aim. Havent used the last stand potion, i didnt realize i could abuse that, it would make a big difference. With the staff i hit basically every time, no misses. With 3 walls up i was able to maintain steady buff duration. And also, i respeced actual properly optimized melee damage build specifically for this boss
  3. I thought you used the mace+shield you have equiped in the video. So you used bow in melee? The staff worked well for me. It has useful damage reduction stats, and high crush damage, crush armor on the boss is OK. With penetrating strike which i am spamming i have easily enough Armor pen. Also you can use potion to get extra +2 AR. Unless you can get enough AR to reliably overpenetrate, i am pretty sure the staff will be better. The fight took me total little over 1 hour. With using your belt trick you could probably do it much faster.
  4. This is how i killed the boss, but i didnt use the belt/blights. I did it bruteforce spamming the walls constantly. It took ages to kill the boss but it died. Why did you choose the weapon you have? I used the chromoprismatic staff for example.
  5. Yeah, Dorudugan is a mega megaboss for my bloodmage/nalpazca build. Every other megaboss was piss easy, even Huani. He was just a big lumbering piece of hp that posed no threat to me. Dorudugan otherwise, eff this guy. How did you kill Huani O Whe without controlable summons? What did you do after the split? Or did you cheese it so it died upon split? put chanter between two ooze and endlessly summon skeleton but stun and paralyze them are more important I mean how Giftmefood did Solo with bloodmage/napalzca monk class.
  6. Yeah, Dorudugan is a mega megaboss for my bloodmage/nalpazca build. Every other megaboss was piss easy, even Huani. He was just a big lumbering piece of hp that posed no threat to me. 7. I did kill it solo as tactitian/bloodmage. But prepare for 1 hour fight . can you post your build? what abilities do you use and also how will you gain flank on him to gain brilliant? (effigys? phantom mage skill?). Also do summons count as allies so you don't get the penalty from tactician? 1) My standard spec was full spell focus build, but for this boss i respeced to melee damage, took more warrior tallents. For damage i was using penetrating strike 2) For weapon i used a crush weapon, best i cound find was the Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff from Nemnok. Mainly for high damage, but also the bonus speed and damage reduction were handy (maxed out metamagic). I was a bit worried by the loss of deflection, but with Arcane veil i had 150 deflection, which was good enough. 3) I used Rekvus Cloak to not take firedamage (that one is a nobrainer) and after first try where i died on 5% because of interupts i used also the helm, it made it much easier. 4) This is with no rest character, i have full world buffs. On vessels i had 150 accuracy which made it very easy to hit this boss. 5) General strategy a) prebuff lengraths safeguard and pull with draining wall b) place mauras tentacles to flank the boss and gain brilliant - keep recasting them when they die, sometimes better to wait if there is AOE coming, because they always die. They dont damage the boss, so they never agro, they only die from AOE c) buff myself with everything immaginable. Top priority is unbending for healing, disciplined strikes for accuracy, all various mage buffs including arcane veil, delateriuos alacrity, lengraths, merciless gaze, also i used potion of deftness, penetration potion, perfect strikes potion and the drug giving 15% melee damage and -5% damage taken. After that i spam draining wall as much as possible. Its important to constantly have at least 2-3 walls up, more the better, you need to build up the buff duration early on, because later the boss will do more aoe etc and it will disrupt you (need to recast tentacles more). d) then you basically alternatate penatrating strike/draining wall and cast tentacles when they die. e) It took me over 1 hour to kill the boss, because half of the time you are casting the walls to keep your buffs going and you are not hitting him. Also the boss heals from the aoe damage he does. In general the staff hits were for 50-90 damage each. f) If you dont let your buffs fall of, unbending scales up constantly and it will heal 200+ hp per hit, making you basically unkillable. Only danger is when the boss reduces your HP by many cleave hits. I am not sure how exactly it works, but at one point i got down to 163 max HP (originally 384), there i was a bit scared of being oneshot, but then he missed a cleave or two and my HP went back up.
  8. 1) Have dex afliction immunity item, this is critical - there are boots from the DLC boat, i used those. 2) I possitioned myself at the entrance, the small spiders got in between the boss and me, i let those alive whole fight to ensure i couldnt be melee hit by the boss 3) buff myself, and keep draining wall up, make sure it hits as many targets as possible (this way you will have all the buffs forever), make sure you have undying, with unending duration it will stack and stac kand it will heal for 200+hp per tick 4) kill about 100 of the small spiders to get 100 debuffs on the boss, just make sure you dont touch those infront of the boss. I used draining missiles and sometimes chillfog 5) after i had the stacks i used the draining missiles to kill the boss. I didnt bother with other spells and played it safe. Use only Draining missiles and draining wawe to keep it up. The missiles have huge range, so you are safe from the boss. You cant use the beam spells, because you would hit the small spiders. Freezing pillar has too short range and it would probably hit the spiders too. Man, what an *amazing* strategy! Thanks!!! Nailed it on first try. The "Wall of Draining" plus Unbending/Safeguard is amazing. I didn't know that. I also played it safe but stood close enough to throw in some beams. Album showing the amazing stats you get from wall of draining, on Llengrath's Safeguard and Unbending: https://imgur.com/a/ZYpn6mN Thanks again! You are welcome, the fight was very easy like this. Sigilmaster Auranic is very easy too. Dorudugan on the other hand is very annoying but doable.
  9. What was the rest of your Belranga strategy? I figure I will stack Dex affliction resistance items (Gywin's Bridal, Engwithian Bracers, Fighter talent) and try to keep some spiders between her and my toon. But after that? 1) Have dex afliction immunity item, this is critical - there are boots from the DLC boat, i used those. 2) I possitioned myself at the entrance, the small spiders got in between the boss and me, i let those alive whole fight to ensure i couldnt be melee hit by the boss 3) buff myself, and keep draining wall up, make sure it hits as many targets as possible (this way you will have all the buffs forever), make sure you have unbending, with unending duration it will stack and stac kand it will heal for 200+hp per tick 4) kill about 100 of the small spiders to get 100 debuffs on the boss, just make sure you dont touch those infront of the boss. Freezing pillar has too short range and it would probably hit the spiders too.
  10. If you cant get brilliant its very easy to just spam the blood mage ability and the concelhaut draining missilies. They heal like crazy and have huge range. I used this on Belranga for example as well.
  11. I did beat following bosses solo as tactian/bloodmage: Belranga Sigilmaster Auranic Dorudugan Rest of the game including Forgotten Sanctum was easy enough. Huani o Whe is probably impossible
  12. Not two hits, two bursts. 1 burst = unloading all spells I have within those 10s or so when the shield is down. 1 delayed fireball (precast when i see which sigil shield will be lowered) 2 Ninagauth's freezing pillar 2 Ninagauth's Shadowflame 1 fireball - these spells i can usually get through before the shield goes back up. They do enough damage to nearly kill the sigil. After than i run back to the entrance, regen my spells via brilliant, rebuff and run back in and repeat. with sun and moon + 2 frost PL, 2 PL from potion of ascention, +1PL from blood sacrifice, +1PL from reducing the spell aoe. And not like those sigils have high defenses. I tried using ray spells and combusting wounds as well, but the ramp up of damage is simply too slow and also i used to get raped by the reflected damage after the shield went back up.
  13. I have a question regarding the ooze megaboss. Is it possible to kill Hauani O Whe without splitting the oozes apart? What exactly causes them to merge again to one? Can anyone give detailed information about this mechanic? Thank you
  14. I found Auranic very easy, mainly because the nature of the encounter. The boss being stationary caused several things which might not have been intented, like gaining brilliant when being out of range of the boss. In general i stayed near the entrance, buffed myself, charged in and bursted 1 sigil down when he lowered the shield, i could kill each sigil in 2 bursts, after the sigils were down i slowly killed the boss, he wasnt doing anything too dangerous.
