I don't hate BioWare nor Bethesda. That's just silly. I do dislike Bethesda's games though (only played Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Daggerfall). Their style of making games ain't for me and I seriously dislike their PR guys. Zenimax however I do hate. BioWare used to be my 2nd favourite company when it comes to games, I enjoy playing. Not so much recently though. With EA's purchase of BioWare I've seen less and less of those elements in their games that I like and more of EA's (yearly or every 2nd year) update methods. Now I just simply don't care about BioWare's games. Though I guess I'll buy whatever they make but not on day1.

D-Day. Also Swedes have a holiday celebrating my birthday, how nice of them. Though nothning special happened in 1983 on that day, except my birth.

I might enjoy Game of Thrones more if it wasn't for the book series. It's just that much better as a book series.

I really liked the first two seasons, but it went down hill after that. The storyline was still good but there were so many filler episodes. True, the show really would have benefitted from a smaller (13 ep or so) seasons.

Pfft, only two people so far has mentioned The Wire. 1. The Wire Other shows don't come even close. 2. Farscape My favourite scifi series. Still bitter that the so called Scifi channel cancelled it 3. Babylon 5 Filler eps were horrible, but the story arch itself was pretty damn good. Too bad the 5th season was more or less full of stand alone episodes 4. Band of Brothers Probably the best miniseries I've seen 5. Buffy 1st season was mostly bad, but once it got going it was great series. Not the most serious of series, but I loved the writing. 6. Community/Big Bang Theory / Scrubs One of the few comedy shows that make me laugh out loud 7. Treme Didn't think I would watch a show about musicians, but it's so much more. Too bad HBO is killing it after next season,

It's nice to see Obsidian hiring again. They've gone from 94 workers to 102 according to LinkedIn.

Most likely the Rich Taylor project that I would imagine is a pitch to publishers about a game they would like to work after South Park finishes/starts to ramp down. -
Shut up and take my money! Went from 35 to 88 dollars (as planned). Can't afford the 140 dollar tier though Josh/someone from Obsidian, any info on when we can get that Almanac? Sometime before the game is out or when it's actually released?

Actually that game seems to be quite a rarity these days, because rights went back to Hasbro and since then it has been unavailable through all digital distributors. Few online shops still have retail copies, but prices are outrageous for 6 year-old game. It's not on Steam anymore? I bought whole NWN2 package from Steam like a year ago because I was missing SoZ.

I think their timing is bad, they should have waited until PE closes and then launch their own Kickstarter. They gave no info, so yea it's an oldschool RPG, but if you ask a bunch of people what is an oldschool RPG you will get dozen different answers. Never played Anachronox and that's pretty much the only game Tom Hall has worked on that wasn't a shooter that I might have actually liked. His work on Deus Ex was just voicework... apparently. Brenda Brathwaite that names says nothing to me, okay I see she worked on Wizardy series, never really played those. I recall testing some Wizardy game when I still in my teens, and didn't like it. Her work on Jagged Alliance seems to be more on the writing/documentation side, not actual designing. So nothing in her resume that would intrest me to actually fund the game. Namedropping/showing John Romero, seriously? Isn't it supposed to be RPG and not some generic shooter? I don't want to give my money to John Romero. And aiming at 1 million? Are they really that well known names that they would get million dollars? Sure some Codex people will sell their grandma's on the black market right after they heard the words "old school rpg", but broader audience? But by the looks of it, even Codex ain't that intrested.

Playing FTL. Definately worth the 9 euros

At least the actual mission gameplay seemed fine, still kinda wondering how all the base stuff has been implemented as the demo really didn't show much of that.

Since I disliked the 1st one (after a while) don't think I'll buy the 2nd one. One of the worst buys from Steam sales for me.

New Game + vs Once and Done
Flouride replied to Cariannis's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
New Game + is a concept I still don't quite understand. Once I'm done, I'm either changing the game or I'll start a actual new game and play the game through with a different character. -
[Merged] Durability
Flouride replied to Audron's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I dislike durability, nothing like carrying bunch of same model guns in Fallout 3 because the durability was tweaked in such a s***** way that your guns were breaking down all the time. -
Translations
Flouride replied to jerf's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I personally don't care, but I guess people who speak Italian, Portugese and/or Polish would appriciate it
