  1. Friendly fire should be in, though I would have it as optional.
  2. Yes it would. But who knows, maybe the contract forbids them selling the full license. Or maybe they think they can build something awesome suddenly... which has eluded them for years.
  3. I hate respawns. I gave up on playing Stalker just due to the endless respawns. If I want to fight through endless amount of mobs I'll go play some MMO.
  4. That's not surprising at all. Red Eagle Games/Entertainment doesn't have the money to fund the game. That's why they tried to Kickstart a F2P WoT game which failed badly.
  5. Well, that's good news
  6. I liked the romance in MotB. That's pretty much the only game that has done romance properly. It didn't feel like a chore (watch what you say etc.).
  7. No thank you on minigames.
  8. Not enough info yet to decide whether undead fit into the setting.
  9. No, unless the world will actually react to what you have accomplished by finishing the mainplot.
  10. Yes, but not always. I'm thinking Fallout, Fallout 2 and PS:T when it comes to "talking your way out of fights". And never force the player first go through waves of enemies and then be able to talk the "big bad guy" out of the fight. I hate it. "Oh I just killed everyone of your lackeys, wanna be my friend?"
  11. Yes, if it fits the setting. If not, then no. Not that I care a lot if they are missing either
  12. I would imagine they got more emails than just yours waiting for a reply. So, no, it's not just two seconds.
  13. http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/witcher/credits I'm way too lazy to count the unique names from there, but I would say that's more than 20 at least (the number of staff members Obsidian is aiming at).
  14. I'm pretty sure The Witcher had big budget and lot more staff members working on it. There's only so much you can do with 2 or 3 million dollars and with the 20 people they are aiming at. Even if there isn't that much voiced dialogue. I feel like some of you guys are in for a huge disappointment with your expectations of 80-100 hours worth of gameplay.
  15. Don't think everyone should get beta access, idiots will spoil the plot for sure Wouldn't mind getting one myself though as I can't really afford to pay 160 dollars for the game right now (between jobs etc.). So hook me up, Alvin. You still owe me for something I said around DS3 DLC
  16. Sweet. The more I hear about it, more anxious I get waiting for the game or some info about the world/lore
  17. I've always preferred the D&D system when it comes to how many spells you can cast. But if you are going with mana system, mana potions should be really rare/expensive.
  18. I guess it will depend on the story. While I don't mind set end-bosses they need to make sense for the character I'm playing. Dragon Age 2 failed at this badly, while Baldur's Gate 1&2 and PS:T were good examples how set end bosses worked well. Then again if it's more of free roaming story with different factions and all, then something like the ending of F:NV is better.
  19. Have they not been in contact enough? I see bunch of em reading these forums even though it's weekend. Josh has replied to several questions and I believe is writing down some answers to our questions. You have to realize that they have very limited marketing budget for this, not to mention a short window to create as much funding as possible. How can you say it's the same bs we get from the likes of EA? Because they did not run you over with a truckload of information about the game in the 1st two days during a weekend?
  20. 20-30 hours of gameplay with great amount of c&c that will keep me playing the game over and over again. Quality > Quantity. I don't want to grind in some generic caverns for hours (yes I'm looking at you DA). Nor do I want to play the same map over and over and over again (DA2).
  21. From a marketing point of view they might be maxing out the publicy. If you think about it, if a number of internet sites publish new info on a weekly basis during the KS push it will attract more views/hits even after the initial announcement that some people might have missed. And it gives them something to talk about during the KS push and after it. If they dump a huge load of info on us on the first day, what is there to talk about later on?
