  1. Hey Karf, Actually yes, QA and the devs were working on this the past couple days and were unable to reproduce the issue on any new games and were able to gain reputation on the 3.1.0 build. I want to double check myself, so I'll be looking into this today and compare it to the save you sent us. I'll let you know as soon as I get some results from this. Thanks for checking in
  2. We were actually making sure it was indeed fixed as it was fixed as a consequence of fixing the Potions a Plenty quest. Thank you for helping to verify Bellegar Anyone who has passed the point of getting the fragments that want them, please Private Message me so I know you need them and I'll see about getting them for you.

  4. Hey Lampros, Have you been having saves deleted on you recently? Those issues are supposed to be fixed at this point so I was curious if we had another issue on our hands since we haven't heard about them recently. Thanks!
  5. Hello Hoo, It is currently intended for Spiritshift forms to not be Empowered, though it is possible that this could change in the future, but at the moment that is the intent. I hope this helps answer you question! Thanks for your continued support of Deadfire, Hoo!
  6. Hey Dib, Thank you for reporting this! I put a bug report together and sent it to the QA and Character Art teams, but I would love that save file in case they can't reproduce the issue. The forums can definitely be finicky with attachments, but if you could send the save to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum name and a link to this thread as a reference, I would appreciate it. Thanks again and sorry for the graphical issue.
  7. Hey Zephyr, Sorry about this bug. I just checked it out real quick and you're right. The Area Designer is sad that this is a bug and will take care of it. In the meantime, if you like, you can send me a copy of your save file to support@obsidian.net with your forum user name and a link to this thread and I'll toss the weapon into your inventory and send it back. Thank you for letting us know about this, and sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.
  8. Hello Loupa, I'm sorry you are unable to play Deadfire due to this black screen issue. Would you be able to send me some information to support@obsidian.net that I can look into? I'm interested in the DxDiag which I didn't see on this thread, and the output_log.txt file. If needed, you can find instructions to find that output file here. The forums can give a bit of trouble attaching files, that's why the support email might be better. I'll check out the output file and see what troubleshooting options we may have and send it to the Programming team so they can try to find a fix for the issue. Not everyone in-house can reproduce it, but I can >:D I'm still poking the Area Designer to fix this it's just taking him time to figure it out since it's not affecting everyone.   10. Hello Bio, Thank you for reporting these to us! Do you happen to have a save file for the Fruitful Alliance bug you reported? I want to have someone check on that and the missing crew member bug. If needed, you can find instructions on where to locate the save files here. If you could attach the save here or send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to this thread that would be great. If you can't, no biggie. I'll have QA grab what we need when they have the time. For the Stormturner cloak we all seem to have the string displaying, so I'm wondering if there may be some corruption with your game files. If you can repair the integrity of the game files with the platform you use to play Deadfire or potentially an uninstall/reinstall may fix it. That used to be a bug but it was fixed in the 3.0 patch so we don't see it anymore in-house, but I'll have QA check with the save file you send just in case. Thanks Bio, and sorry for the trouble these bugs have given you.
  11. Hey ReuelKB, Thank you for reporting this to us! I put a bug report in and sent it to the Area Design team to fix up. If needed, you should still be able to cause the transition icon to appear by holding the Highlight Interactables button(default "Tab"). I'd still like to get this working properly without using the highlight toggle, so it should still get a fix. Thanks again for the help and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
  12. Hello Zealots, The save might be helpful for this as I was curious to the manner in which you summoned the tentacle so I know which one to cast. I tried on Maura's Writhing Tentacles and Chorus of the Lost didn't work on them. If the save won't upload to the forum, can you send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to this thread as a reference? Thanks for the help!

Hey Thelee, I sent a big report with all of your detailed information to the Systems Design team so they can investigate the attack time, recovery, and reload speed of this and make a decision on what may need to be done here. Thank you for looking into this for us as it saves a ton of time on the back end since they always have bugs to fix. if you discover any more, please feel free to continue posting about it as I linked this thread to the bug report as a reference.   15. Hello Weaver! Someone sent me this issue via support@obsidian.net at which point I loaded the save and saw the issue. I ran the party through the water(slog zone) again to reapply it and then walked out where it then removed from everyone. I sent the updated save back to that user which may have been you. If it wasn't you, you can try this but if it doesn't work, feel free to send me your save and I will get it working properly for you. in regards to effects being stuck on characters, we have a fix that has been verified and is now awaiting the next patch release to be implemented into the Beta Patch branch and afterwards the Default branch of Deadfire. Thank you for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.
  16. Hello Schwinner, I apologize for the quest bugs you've been running into. Both issues between Potions of Plenty and the Engari Tasks have been fixed and are verified working. They are currently awaiting the next patch to be released to the public. The Beta Patch branch which will have these fixes is likely to come out some time this week, so if you want to get to them early you can keep an eye on that. Assuming everything goes well there, it is likely that they would release in a patch some time next week for the Default branch. As a heads up with this fix, users may need to zone out and back into the arena lobby to get Engari to reset, but he should be working when this is implemented. Also, each of the tasks is gated by whether or not players have already obtained each respective artifact that can be found on the island in regards to the face for which they represent. Engari will only mention that you can obtain an artifact, but will no longer mention the other island artifacts as the player would have chosen a face to champion at this point. The other two island artifacts will still be available to be obtained from their respective static encounter on the World Map. Once an island artifact has been unlocked and its challenges completed, Engari will then be willing to speak of some more artifacts out in the Deadfire. Hello Loopinkk, Currently there is no natural way to make the ability bar disappear when playing solo as opposed to Rolandur's suggestion of having party members and selecting multiples of them. I'll put in a suggestion bug asking for a way to make that bar disappear or be toggled for solo players. Thanks for letting me know how you feel about this and sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
  18. Hello again hbCyber, I'm sorry you ran into another crash. I have taken the information you provided, put it in a bug report, and sent it to the QA and Programming teams for investigation. If you happen to discover anything else about crashing during level up, please let me know and I will forward the information to the programmers so they can use that information during their investigation.   20. Hello hbCyber! I apologize for the crash you ran into at the Kraken's Eye. We have had issues where some players intermittently crash during what appear to be random transitions between scenes. Unity got back to us last week with some ideas for a fix and that has been implemented into our developer branch. It is currently undergoing testing and will likely come out to the Beta Patch branch soon and assuming everything goes well, will then go live in a patch. Thank you for the extra data as we will still be reviewing it to make sure the fix is working for all locations. If you happen to notice anything else about these transition crashes, please let us know! Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience this crash has caused.

  22. Hello KiLaNova, I'm sorry you ran into a transition crash. We have a fix getting ready for release that should fix these issues soon. I'm still going to add your output log just in case they need it, but I expect that fix to be released to the Beta Patch branch some time next week, assuming nothing goes wrong with the build. If you've been running into this issue frequently, then I would recommend switching to that branch until the fix goes to the live Default branch. I hope this helps!   24. Hello Xelllll, I'm sorry for this issue you are running into with the black screen. If you haven't already(I think you have, because this seems very familiar), can you send me the output_log.txt, save file, and DxDiag to me at support@obsidian.net? If needed, you can find instructions on where to find those files here. Once we have those, I can have the programmers take a look into what is happening to you and try to get some quick fixes and a permanent fix for this situation.
