  1. no random encounter at all when traversing around neketaka. for one the griffin blade did not.
  2. what was reported and happened to me is random encounters dont trigger in 1.1 for me.
  3. found this thread.. it's happening to me as well. so far no random encounter trigger. the only thing i did differently is having maia, takehu as companion compared to having xoti and aloth.
  4. The proper balance changes after difficulty patch should have been "now the game is really hard, how do i beat this encounter?" and shouldn't been "this nerf break my build".
  5. or it seems they don't give 2 pires about their fans who supported them who went gog instead of steam
  6. I dunno about "this early," you're two quests from the end of the game gosh that's kinda spoilerish for me. i thought this is a non spoiler section.
  7. +1 often find my most vulnerable facing the mob which should be from behind. i need to manually make them run behind when combat start

I like to see something like a challenge rift (the in between maybe?) with different difficulty tier T1,T2,T3 etc. where you transported to a location where you can test your powerful party builds combating powerful enemies. you could possibly see your powerful party get wiped and get returned back to the normal world. the reward? obviously gold and legendaries
  9. they don't need to increase level cap. they can however introduce another form of progression.
  10. That would be for John Lewis (VFX) and Justin Bell (SFX). Adam is a programmer, so he's way deep into the bug-fixing hole I believe. ahh ok. i remember i watched somewhere that josh mentioned adam was the one who improved the visual clarity like the opacity during pause. thought he was in charge of VFX due to that. my mistake then.
  11. All those oversight is low priority while scavenging and amassing the big mega nerf list in the next patch is untmost important :D
  12. if not mistaken adam is a techie or something. he deals with optimizing the game, visuals, features, etc. i wished he would buff some effects like lightning and it's sound effects though.
  13. i hope obsidian would buff the 2H sometime later... hopefully not the other way round (nerf DW). i kinda love DW at the moment.. obsidian shd buff weaker stuff instead of nerf better ones.
  14. +1 Mirke is the most fun, cheerful and cute sidekick obsidian has ever created. I really like that she fleshed out as a full companion in expansion. And she's a pirate and seems suited very well with Deadfire's piratey theme
  15. i was wondering how much explosives and alchemy is required. i have one character maxing out explosives not sure if it helps anything. alchemy for my main character. since it's increase acc i guess it's good for even caster?
  16. if they were to balance it i hope they are not gated behind a very hard encounter. normally, you probably able to beat such encounter near end game and render that powerful weapon useless (which you cannot used for). i think better off balance the weapon to have level requirement or scale based level. i like the latter idea.
  17. IMO priest should be similar to wizard. priest utility has been taken away. it should have more spells.
  18. it doesnt make sense. you go the other path and it isn't hostile.
  19. post 1.1 i used to open the door in deadlight court. now when i open it everyone turns hostile. any idea?
