You have to act (or talk) cruel and aggressive in order to get ranks in your favored dispositions which will improve your defenses. If you choose diplomatic or benevolent you will gain ranks in those dispisitions at some point ant that will make your defenses weaker. Everything else (stoic, passionate, honest, rational...) has no effect. So you can act/talk in a somewhat decent manner without getting a "debuff".

Bleak Walker works rather unwell since you can't multiclass Berath with Bleak Walker due to disposition collision. If you combine Sworn Enemy's upgrade that refunds the zeal costs after killing the enemy then you can have Gilded Enmity several times during encounter - which is good. It lasts for 7 hits - so if you can make sure you only get 25% or 50% damage from 7 hits that's something. Only "problem" is that a great sword user will be very slow if you want to stack lots of AR and wear plate in addition to Gilded Enmity. The combo of Spiritual Great Sword and Flames of Devotion is very good, but if you can only strike three times until the Spiritual Great Sword runs out that's a bummer. So maybe I would use Gilded Enmity + lightish armor instead and try to offtank instand of tank. I think this would be more fun. With Exhalted Endurance you might be able to really tank again though.

With this system, a mage of level 5 will be able to cast "50 bounding missiles" or "50 fireballs" by day !!... It's ridiculous. I understand that Obsidian love the bioware fans (they're numerou$$$...), but as for me, I just sent an email to GOG to cancel my pre-order. A wizard of level 5 or lvl 20 can cast exactly 2 bounding missiles or 2 Fireballs per encounter - 3 if he uses Empower. It doesn't matter how many spells he can cast per day because "per day" means nothing in Deadfire's encounter design (it only matters for your resources like food, drink and money which will get eaten away by your ship crew if you rest too often). You completely didn't understand how the new system works and what its limitations are. Actually spellcasters like wizard, druid and priest were much more gamebreaking and potentially powerful in PoE than they are now because you can't spam spells anymore in tough encounters. Balancing them is a lot easier now. Based on this fuzzy and wrong picture you made up in your head you cancelled your order because you somehow feel offended - while throwing out baseless accusations. Must you really get into such a huff? It's overhasty and irrational.

Looks fine. DEX gives you diminishing returns the higher it gets. 20 is plenty. Especially when using a lot of Full Attacks you won't profit a lot from even more DEX. If you have troubles staying alive then I would put more points into CON - helps with the health bar. Or more PER for more interrupts. I would like more INT if I'd use a lot of rogues' strikes, but you can do without. All in all it looks decent for a rogue.

I think that RES is totally overrated as a tank stat. It's good at the beginning or when you really want to build a pure tank, but not important if you defection is mediocre anyway. Interrupts are easy to come by with a priest - if you even have problems with them in the first place. DEX and also move speed are nice for a shifter because you want to squeeze as many attacks into your shifting time as possible. Druids have no Full Attacks and also no gear like Gauntlets or Durgan Steel in weapons to speed them up. Only things that work are potions, Outlander's Frenzy or DEX. And since DEX not only speeds up your recovery but also the attack animation it's never completely wasted (albeit the higher the DEX the more diminishing the returns). It's always a multiplicative dmg boost. PER is nice to have in the beginning, but as soon as buffs and hefty CC is available it's no problem to crit a lot even with 10 PER. A priest wit Inspiring Radiance + Devotions will make sure that your Storms hit which will stun, leading to an equivalent of +60 ACC. What are aw points of PER then? Of course if you want to focus on interrupts you'd have to max PER.

In my opinion it's not worth it to trade a bit of wounding dps for a lot shorter shifting time. What is good dps if you can only maintain it for 13 seconds (3 INT) instead of 26 (16 INT)? And the wounding damage is not even lost, it just gets applied more slowly (6.5 sec instead of 3.25 sec). And as you said you'll lose AoE, durations of Storms including Avenging Storm, healing power and so on. I'm all for dumping INT to 1 with Tidefall or Drawn in Spring and the Ultimate Hat of Alluring Perfection - but here I think it's gimping your overall usefulness too much.

I think it's silly that hands/weapon start glowing when you have Soul Whip or trigger Savage Attack. PoE is not Dragonball Ll.

You missed the point.

Deadfire: Would you like to know more?

I agree. Two handers need more love. Maybe this will get balanced out with better/earlier uniques - who knows... -

They simply wipe each other out. -
All cool. Mechanics changed a lot during beta. It's hard to keep track - especially since only ~30% of changes seem to find their way into the patch notes...

First of all: no. You can't pick the same ability twice. But fighters can have 50% with Disciplined Strikes and Berserkers can also convert hits to crit with frenzy. Single Weapon Style would come on top. Secondly: you can't simply add conversion chances. They are evaluated one after the other during attack resolution - and not added. Because of this you have to multiply the chances. A 50% chance and after that another 50% chance result in an overall 75% chance, not 100%. You can never achieve 100% conversion. So even if you could pick 20% twice you would end up at 36%, not 40%.
