RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
It's sounds weird when you humanize a large company. snip The first thing that came to mind was this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPk4NTp-Lmk I'll play the 10th doctor and say that I much prefer the Dragon Age series (or at least DA:O) over the Witcher series. Looking forward to both games though.

Thinking of trying the Fallen Enchantress expansion pack beta but Stardock is telling me I have to register my key on Steam.... trying to decide if it's worth it. Will probably just wait til it comes out proper and hope it's not Steam only. Le sigh Edit: I blame EA Edit2: Looks like final version will also require Steam

Armed Force lose tuition assistance
Yes, it was for me at least. I used the active duty tuition assistance program a couple of times and it was great and now I'm about to go do my gi bill thing, unless that gets cut in the near future too

Armed Force lose tuition assistance
I think it's a little misleading equating what servicemembers (used to) get and what is available to illegal aliens... according to that site anyway. Getting in state tuition rates and having your classes completely paid for aren't nearly the same thing besides the fact that one is state level and the other is federal Also, the DoD did recommend that each service cut its TA program to save money

Torment: Tides of Numenera?
It is most likely, he is after all quite a corpulent gentleman.

Armed Force lose tuition assistance
I thought that the different branches are defunding these programs themselves. I could be wrong but I figured they were reallocating the money to make up for the cuts because the Navy is still "considering it's options" from the few articles that I've read. Either way it sucks

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues
I'm considering backing this but I think the entry point is a little too high for a game I'm not really excited about

I only backed it for $20. I will likely increase my pledge in the future as more info comes out though Having never played the first game for more than 5 minutes I don't have the deep connection to the game that I see so much here- Books we've been reading V2.0
I try not to EDIT: Forgot to add that I also read the new Shadowrun novel Neat. It was a fun little read about a scrappy, burnt out elf mage private detective who likes his whisky neat. I recommend it to anyone that likes sci-fi/fantasy genre mashups or the Shadowrun setting but as a pure detective story I thought it was a little weak but not bad.- Shadowrun Returns
more goodness and we'll have the first in game footage and screen shots next week more here- The funny things thread

Just finished the Blood Song and recommend it to anyone that likes good books- Modern wars
Couldn't resist Not pictured: submarine mode- Books we've been reading V2.0
Awesome! I'll have to check it out So after reading it I checked up on him, and apparently the book isn't getting published until July. But it is available on the Amazon marketplace. It did so well on there that he got picked up by Penguin to complete the trilogy. Pretty cool to see how these e-published authors are getting picked up by big publishers. I picked it up on Google Play last night and managed about 5 chapters before passing out. I'm really digging it so far. - Torment: Tides of Numenera?
