  1. Yes... because somehow a dead person can be prosocuted. Is it no longer illegal? Here is the US, you can be prosecuted for an attempted suicide. There are some legitimate reasons for this, mostly revolving around the fact that it leads to court ordered therapy for the person. Better hope you don't fail then because if you thought your life sucked before...
  2. GD, the new Commandant is a pilot so there is hope for women to some day lead the Marine Corps. Also, I'm a bit saddened that the Marines were the branch most opposed to the repeal.
  3. The price bothers me more than the plot.. 60 bucks!
  4. I thought some other company made MDK and Bio just made the sequel... Do you think they would bring back a game that wasn't really theirs to begin with? EDIT: I realize that Bethesda brought back Fallout but this would only be the same if they had also made Fallout 2
  5. Because that would have the opposite of the intended effect vis a vis stopping future leaks of classified material. How so? This just so happens to be the perfect storm of a U.S. service member who was willing to sell out his country meeting another person who is all to happy to diseminate said information to everyone in the world. I think a bullet would go a very long way in plugging potential future leaks. And just to show I dont discriminate, the soldier should get one too. You don't think the assassination bit is a little extreme? Also, I'm sure the Soldier will get what's coming to him. EDIT: not a bullet
  6. Reinstalled NWN1 and am now playing through Hordes of the Underdark. I think that it has held up pretty well and aside from a couple odd graphical glitches in character creation it's running just fine in Windows 7.
  7. I found out that I got promoted last month which took me by surprise because I've basically been out of the military for nearly 2 years. Rested XP ftw! Now I have to update the rank on a bunch of uniforms that I don't wear just in case I get called back to active duty.
  8. Impulse and Best Buy still have it for 50 bucks.
  9. Yeah, people should never work on things they enjoy and can be proud of. If he can afford to be so selective then good on him. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is.
  10. Currently splitting my free time between Civ 5 and LotRO. Finally moving up into the higher difficulty settings in Civ but aside from being steamrolled once for seriously neglecting my army I'm finding it to be a little easier than I feel it should be.
  11. I prefer DD to having a physical copy but I like systems like GOG and D2D over Steam and Impulse. In fact I don't like Steam very much at all and I don't have any real reason for it because none of the things that I dislike about it have ever interfered with me playing a game.
  12. A c-section scar on her chest? If she didn't give birth to an alien then I'm confused.
  13. I would pay 20 to 30 dollars for an hour to an hour and a half of that.
  14. I saw this article and immediately thought of you guys Gates details $100 billion in defense cuts
  15. First day back at work after a long weekend. Always the worst, a pile of work and I'm still in vacation mode
  16. Snapping into a monster Slim Jim at a family reunion last weekend. Oh yeah!
  17. I blame the Duggar family ... and, of course, the squirrels.
  18. What would you have them do? I don't know, what would most people do if they saw a man fondling a little boy? and I remark that these are people used to conflict with no fear to get into a fight, so why there hasn't been any incident? I find this apathy more disgusting than support. They spoke up and that's how you have your article. I think you misunderstand the situation over there if you think that there aren't very specific rules that the troops must follow and we can't change their culture and beliefs through sheer strength of arms.
  19. What would you have them do?
  20. Is the Middle East not Asia? That's how we always classified it. Also, we ran into similar stuff in Iraq though more often it was casual gay sex with men and not children. A common saying there was women are for children, men are for pleasure.
  21. Bring another girl home, that's super clever. Hmm....
