I'm making lamb loin chops on the grill and some couscous on the stove. My wife is making some kind of salad.

I'm still hoping for a Fallout 2 remake/remaster whatever. I'm playing LOTRO because they just released a new class, the Mariner. Since I hadn't played since before they introduced River Hobbits I went with a River Hobbit Mariner named Burwell and did my best to make him look like Chesty Puller. I played through the River Hobbit intro then immediately quit to make a High Elf version instead and am still playing through the unreasonably long and unskippable HElf intro.

Went to Costco and picked up 3 bottles of Lagavulin. I got one of each year; 8, 11, and 16. Suddenly remembering when I was in Jamaica and randomly met an older Scottish gentleman who was also on an island hopping campaign and we joined forces and cleaned out the resort bar.

I've never seen it just the Best of the Worst episode that featured it. That growl still haunts my nightmares.

Rawrr rawrr rawrr

I made steaks as well. Paired it with honey glazed parsnips because my wife loves parsnips and crispy garlic baby bok choy because I like garlic and King Soopers (Kroger) had a sale on bok choy.

Nope but I have Hill on my fantasy team so I was very happy. Fantasy football is my only football exposure these days.

Lillard to the Bucks wouldn't have made my wildest fantasy bingo list

Netflix and Disney are the ones up for cancellation next. Netflix has been especially disappointing for me lately, it's so hard to find things that interest me and they keep raising prices. I just canceled Paramount Plus and HBO so I'm left with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and Disney. I get live TV with Hulu so it's probably the hardest one to drop.

I thought that with the strikes I would be able to catch up on my backlog and also probably check out some stuff on my maybe list but that hasn't happened at all. I found that I'd rather watch a re-run or nothing at all over something I was iffy about before. I also discovered that if I don't find something to watch in under 5 minutes I'm probably just going to turn off the TV and do something else. My wife likes having the TV on in the background but I do not, I either watch it with a purpose or want it off. I also canceled some of the streaming services that I don't use that often.

I don't know how to feel about an unpeated Islay though... hold me?

Started watching One Piece but wife was out after the first episode so I probably am too.

I hated MW5 and couldn't force myself to continue playing. If they completely redesigned the game I might give it a try.

We did it, we got Hunter Biden! Had a good laugh at Boebert but mostly I just feel sorry for her. I know she's horrible but I'm not, at least not totally.

I have to play tech support for my wife's iPhone and my own Android. I also had iPhones given to me as work phones and I don't hate them but I do hate going back and forth. Never had any issue updating from Pixel to Pixel or Samsung to Samsung or any of the flagship phones but it can be a little iffy going from two vastly different Android phones.

We're also rewatching Voyager and it's still as bad but not as bothersome. Just like Mitt Romney. Politics.

No worries, am not a Romney fan just funny how a politician I absolutely did not want is appealing in the face of my current options.

He wasn't that good in the beta but that part of the game was super buggy

Aunt passed away over the weekend, she was 94. I never actually met her as she lived in OKC but it made me think about how many people in my family lived to be 90+. Grandma who passed earlier this year was in her 90s as well. Of course, my mom died in her 40s so there's that. In less death related news, went to a museum over the weekend because they have all of my son's favorite things; space, dinosaurs, and rocks. Then we came home and made wooden swords while watching Star Trek 4. Was a pretty good little weekend even though I had to work a little bit on Saturday.

I think Biden is just losing his mind, which I think is probably worse than lying on purpose. He's been like that for a while and it's not getting better. I'm not defending him and I don't even like him. I'd prefer almost any other Democrat and even quite a few Republicans, just none that are currently running. I remember what I was like hell no, not Mittens Romney. Now I'm like what about that Romney guy. It's like nuTrek being so bad that I'm like let's watch Enterprise.

When my wife's favorite milk is out of stock and I have to get one that's not organic I always give her crap like, sorry this milk is made out of rocks. My wife grew up a lot like I did though with a lot of stuff coming from someone's home garden and most meat from someone's small farm. Funny how that poor rural experience is crazy expensive now. We had to go to town to get the fancy processed stuff so it was always like a treat. Thankfully sodium isn't much of an issue for me but that's probably just a matter of time as everyone else in my family seems to have an issue with it. I have a skin condition that does better when I eat less heavily processed stuff.

I wish a good Islay was cheaper but then I'd probably be drunk all the time and my liver would be shot. 1. Intentionally left blank 2. Lagavulin. This was the Scotch that got me liking Scotch. I also like Laphroaig and Ardbeg. 4. I'm a dark rum drinker 5. Luksusowa and Chopin are my go tos 6. I really enjoy a good Limoncello or Ginja but it's tough to find ones I like a lot and don't remember the brands. I love a good Tawny Port as well. Most 20+ years will be a little pricier but the cheap stuff is trash.

I made tacos and yucca chips I also try to get the most minimally processed foods but I'm my own worst enemy because I like crap. I cut back on meat a lot and try to avoid anything factory farmed and try to get things cruelty free even though I think cruelty makes it taste better... he typed psychotically.

Ahsoka episode 4. I think Sabine has cemented herself as the worst Padawan since Anakin.

Dunno why this sad song always comforts me
