Food Thread - Those that eat
If you genuinely enjoy it then go for it. Like I said, my family doesn't even really enjoy it but they still do it and that's what bothers me the most about it.

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
It gets worse in chapter 4, so basically post-beta content is a lot less polished. Most of the quest bugs I've had are just related to rumors not updating or completing.

Trump eats well-done steaks with ketchup I've seen it but I grew up super poor and rural. Almost all of my family still orders steaks well done, which is why I'll never make them steaks or take them to a steakhouse. I still remember the first time I was brave enough to order a medium steak at a family dinner outing, they all looked at me like I just committed some unspeakable crime but I was the only one that didn't require a sauce to put some moisture back in. Never looked back and now I usually get my steaks medium-rare to medium. My personal preference is closer to KPs, most I'll usually do is a pan sauce. I asked my family why they do this to their steaks and it mostly stems from a fear of getting food poisoning by being given some bad meat. This might make sense for the older generations that lived through segregation while eating out but makes no sense for family cookouts because as I said we're very rural. Our meat is/was typically super freshly butchered. Habit maybe, I dunno. I don't understand it because it's not like they really enjoy a dry steak.

Yeah, I can see that. I do occasionally buy nacho cheese cups to dip my fries into but most of the time it's slathered on top. Heresy detected Sorry been playing too much Rogue Trader. My wife isn't a big fan of ketchup either but she does eat it in the strangest and ghetto-est of places. Not on steaks or we wouldn't be together but still.

Harissa and ketchup is a good combo Mambo sauce is pretty good but it's basically ketchup, hot sauce, and soy sauce. Not a fan but have a few shake dippers in my family I like cheese sauce myself but I grew up with cheese fries being a treat at the school cafeteria. Add some pickled jalapenos and you've got nachos with fried potatsi instead of tortilla chips. Carne Asada fries are also not to be missed. So true, I almost always have issues cooking for friends and family when traveling abroad. I still have nightmares about the search for actual anchovies in Estonia.

Yep, you can save them in chapter 3.

After a million reloads and playing around with Toybox I was finally able to Talk about convoluted. I hope it's just bugged. I guess that's what you get when you only have one dev and five managers giving them extra turns. Sorry that joke has been making the rounds and I couldn't resist.

Our air fryer is easily the most used kitchen gadget in the house. Highly recommend for anyone who ever cooks.

Random video game news... Games are the most elevated form of investigation
JA3 is probably my best game of the year and probably the best comeback of a series as well. I struggled with BG3 but I struggle with pretty much all Larian games so I think Larian plus 5th edition was probably never going to do it for me despite Baldur's Gate being one of the foundational series of my gaming life along with Fallout and MechWarrior.

About to head into chapter 3 again with this new game that is exactly the same as my old game just now with less bugs.

BG3 - Butt kicking for goodness!
I didn't enjoy it but I really, really wanted to. Funny how that works.

Cinema and Movie Thread: flickering images
What Lies Beneath was a good movie. I haven't seen it in forever but I remember it being the kind of horror that I like, or used to like back when I still watched horror movies.

Trying to think of the last time I saw the ATF in the news... Waco or Ruby Ridge. Judging by that I'm going to assume they just shoot you and possibly your wife, kid, and dog. I made tamales but haven't eaten anything in almost 2 days now. Crazy thing is that I'm not even hungry.

I didn't like the combat in the Witcher either and never finished any game in that series. Still haven't even bothered installing the 3rd game. I don't spend much, if any, time buffing, but I also don't play on harder difficultly levels if I'm not having fun with them. I have no problem turning down the difficulty or just cheating if I have more fun that way.

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
My sword welding Pyromancer, after being weak for the first two and a half chapters, can now clear most encounters by himself with Cassia and Jae giving him extra turns. Argenta mostly carried the team until then.

I feel like most of the rumors are bugged because they don't update or go away when I complete them most of the time.
