The TV and Streaming Thread: US Writers/Actors Strike Edition
I'm pretty sure that the show ended or he was off before the allegations came out and he lost pretty much everything. He's still in the intros but every episode featuring him has been removed.

The TV and Streaming Thread: US Writers/Actors Strike Edition
I'm sure I've watched some stuff over the last month or two but most of it slips my mind. Here's the stuff I remembered. Dave Chapelle and Ricky Gervais stand-ups - These are probably the worst I've seen from either comedian. Iron Chef America - My son is addicted to this show but it's funny how Hulu doesn't show any Mario Batali episodes. I get that he's a sex pest but my wife likes Italian food and I'm looking for ideas. I'm a monster, I know... he typed while listening to the Thriller album. e: We watched part 3 of Lupin as well and might start Echo next

More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19
We play with the head-to-head points setting because it's how Football goes and it was the default. So every single day you get points for the people that you have playing that day and you can have up to 10 starters each day and then you have 3 bench spots and 1 IR spot. Mostly it evens out during the week and you typically have close to the same amount of players over 7 days. Sometimes it gets really wonky and you end up with something like what I have going on and are 11 players in the hole over 7 days.

Youtube recommendations, let's beat the algorithm
I have a sub so I don't get ads but I don't remember how I got the sub. Probably some promo or something. I still use AdBlock though for the times I don't care to log in because lazy.

Cinema and Movie Thread: coming at you at 24fps
My wife had like 200 movies on a bunch of USB drives so I got her a small (physically small) external hard drive so she only has to keep track of that. Not that it's much to keep track of as it's just connected to the TV at all times.

I'm also doing a bunch of pushups. Currently at 50 a day working up to 100. I can't run or even walk much but with decent eating habits and all my bodyweight exercises, not to mention that I was sick during the gorging period from Festivus to New Year's Day, I'm in pretty good shape for this part of the year.

My fantasy team is killing me. This week my opponent has 11 more players/games this week and that's not something you can overcome.

My wife called it offensively generic and the definition of a 5/10 movie.

Work is kicking my butt. Our scheduling coordinator person is out and the bosses are just throwing projects around without vetting them or doing any of the stuff that the other person does so it's making everything harder and take longer. They don't realize I've been putting up record numbers because of the other person doing the dirty work and it's not doable if I have to herd all these cats myself.

Only she can't bear monkeigh touch and is also useless at that. I would much rather have an orc or abhuman.

Just hit chapter 5 so naturally it's time to start over instead of finishing the game. Thinking of going iconoclast with dual pistols this time around and giving Argenta a sniper rifle instead of bolters. Last game was a dogmatic psyker for the helm that gives you +dogmatic rank psy rating and the scarf for another +2 and the item that gives psy rating number of attacks. Who am I kidding, I'll probably end up a psyker again, maybe force sword psyker or something.

I don't know how prevalent this is but I know I was out as soon they announced it had cards and deck building. All interest immediately lost and never checked again.

We had pizza. Hawaiian for my wife, cheese for my son, and mushroom and garlic with pepperoni on half for me. I also had a side of ranch dressing for dipping. I'm not a big fan of ranch but I eat it chicken wings and pizza occasionally.

One last note on the steak thing. A good chunk of the people I served in the military with ended up going into food services and they all told me that by ordering your steak well done you're actually more likely to get a subpar cut of meat because you can cover up most of the sketchiness by cooking the hell out of it. Last night I made p'sghetti with some jarred sauce that had porcini mushrooms that I punched up with sweet Italian sausage, tomato paste, spices, and pasta water. Tonight is leftovers.

If you genuinely enjoy it then go for it. Like I said, my family doesn't even really enjoy it but they still do it and that's what bothers me the most about it.

It gets worse in chapter 4, so basically post-beta content is a lot less polished. Most of the quest bugs I've had are just related to rumors not updating or completing.

Trump eats well-done steaks with ketchup I've seen it but I grew up super poor and rural. Almost all of my family still orders steaks well done, which is why I'll never make them steaks or take them to a steakhouse. I still remember the first time I was brave enough to order a medium steak at a family dinner outing, they all looked at me like I just committed some unspeakable crime but I was the only one that didn't require a sauce to put some moisture back in. Never looked back and now I usually get my steaks medium-rare to medium. My personal preference is closer to KPs, most I'll usually do is a pan sauce. I asked my family why they do this to their steaks and it mostly stems from a fear of getting food poisoning by being given some bad meat. This might make sense for the older generations that lived through segregation while eating out but makes no sense for family cookouts because as I said we're very rural. Our meat is/was typically super freshly butchered. Habit maybe, I dunno. I don't understand it because it's not like they really enjoy a dry steak.
