More CoH. These missions or whatever this game calls quests are getting longer and longer and I don't think I like it. I've been dying a lot as I'm still getting used to the controls, that's the excuse I'm going with anyway. Maybe I need to try a completely different style of character.

I needed this bad news delivered in a good way

I think Dune is the only movie of his that I've seen. My first intro to Dune was the Lynch movie and that was followed by a few Dune video games, then I read the book. Don't get me wrong, I did actually like the movie, but I'm really easy... just ask my wife. Still, the vibe I got was cold and sterile... mechanical even. I'm not a great critic so I'll just stop trying to explain.

I have the MetaOculusFacebok Quest number something or other and we mostly just play Beat Saber.

What? He made Arrakis look so cold and sterile. What's not to love?

I'm on Torchbearer on CoH:Homecoming. I'm only level 4 so I have no problem starting over on a different server if you're playing on a different one.

I saw a City of Heroes server got officialized so I'm giving it a shot. Making a blaster but have been stuck on which power set to choose for like an hour.

I've never been able to get into Borderlands and over the years I've figured out that I just can't Diablo in any form. It looks like Crazy Enough to Work: The Movie and I'll probably check it out whenever it comes to a streaming service I have. I feel kinda bad but that's my default state for all movies nowadays and I didn't mean it as a strike against this one in particular.

I loved both Dragonfall and Hong Kong and it was Returns that was hard for me to get through. I'm curious if HBS has tried/is trying to make a 4th Shadowrun game now that they are independent again since I doubt Microsoft would let them keep making their licensed games under Paradox. But what do I know*? *A lot but not that

Flanken short ribs in the air fryer and a sirloin steak on the stove. Also made a mizuna salad with toasted hazelnuts, burrata, strawberries, and balsamic vinegar. Wife had the steak and salad and my sonathan had the short ribs (and I helped) and some left over boxed shells and cheese.

It's also my favorite of the series though I do pretend like 3 never happened.

I'd probably just equate them to the people here in the States who also believe we had a glorious past that they want to return to rather than believing they are true ideologues. My mother-in-law is still friends with them and she says it's a rosy retrospective type scenario.

Well, foreign policy remaining relatively static under previous administrations doesn't really reflect Trump's policy, if you can really call it as such. I mean, if you want more Russian and less US/Western influence, and I know some people who do*, then it's good for you but really Trump is too mercurial to have a policy beyond deferring to Russia and only caring about what you can do for him. *MiL has friends who want Russia to control Eastern Europe so they can LARP the good old days of the USSR

He's back but just on Mondays. The rest of the week has the correspondents hosting the show. According to Roy Wood Jr, a former correspondent, Hasan Minhaj was going to be the new host until that article came out about him.

About to give up on NBA 2K24 because it's too frustrating and I'm not opening my wallet to lessen the frustration. I only play MyCareer because it's like a basic basketball RPG and so I figured I'd try to edit the sliders because I don't ever play against other people but the game closes as soon as you open any modding tools and if you have them open when you launch the game then instead of opening the game it opens a webpage saying they don't allow any tinkering. So, yeah... if I paid more than a few bucks for this game I'd probably be pretty upset instead of just disappointed.

It's a glorified mobile game and even has event passes now. You know, pay 10 or 20 bucks for better and best rewards from in game events. At least there's no unskippable ads this time around.. at least none that I've seen.

NBA 2k24. Not sure if it's only because I suck with the timing in this game or if it's because of the way the game is designed (to sell VC) but I'm really struggling in my MyCareer game. I can't beat most of the challenge quests and my point guard is as responsive as a brick though not nearly as agile.

Bought NBA 2K24 from a shady key reseller so now I'm re-installing Steam and downloading the game.

I made steak on toast. Cooked the steak in herbs and butter, as is our way, and then sliced it and put it on toast and drizzled the butter pan sauce on top.

That thing is 4 feet long! I mean what's more likely, I'm misreading the measurements or that's a comically oversized tape measure and the largest bug in the world. It's obviously the latter.

Took my son to Monster Jam and Grave Digger won its 200th event. I was slightly dreading it but it turned out to be super fun.

My mother-in-law is absolutely terrified that Russia will invade Estonia. They believe that when Trump gets reelected he won't commit the US to defending their tiny and largely unknown NATO ally against Russia.

Way to talk me into that movie. Gotta go see where it's streaming.
