Please Don't Nerf Spells with Patch
Chill Fog kinda owns my tanks, because I'm used to stacking quite a few before the fight lol. So they constantly take tons of DOT dmg.

Close Combat Wizard
It cancels you from using your spell book, at least it does for me. Also, I never said the per-rest made it undo-able, it just makes it a chore and even more of a chore early game.

A seperate sub forum for modding
+1 We need that section. I have many questions on how to mod. I also have many requests (Earlier T1/2 encounter spells)

Close Combat Wizard
I've tried it. It's not bad, quite doable. But theres some major issues: 1. You can't cast while the Staff us summoned (Which looks amazing btw). You're betting off using a real weapon. 2. Per Rest Spells. This means you aren't even going to be able to play as Melee Wizard every encounter, unless you like to back track A LOT. This issue actually limits all 3 caster's potential builds.

Wizards Get Better?
Druid's spells do more dmg and more of them are Foe-AOE.

I'm getting my ass kicked
Consdiering you're using 1.03, Wizard has the weakest start. Go get Eder, make another tank, and possibly even go get Durance real quick. Once you get Confuse and Slumber, at high levels, you become almost as good as Druids and Ciphers. Almost.

I don't like that the right way to play this game is: sneak+fast mode
It's comically bad, the entire team skulking around like some WB Cartoon characters the whole game. It does feel mandatory, and a lack of separate stealth doesn't help. One of the few design decisions I don't like with this otherwise near perfect game.

....Paladins are tanky?
I prefer a Paladin + Fighter tank combo.

Current status of Monks
There is no monk build that makes them better dmg than barb/rogue or better tanks than fighter/paladin.Not going to bother comparing them to Druid, Wizard, Cipher as the casters are in a league of their own for dmg and utility. With that being said they are more than able to do PoTD, they just happen to be the weakest link in the game. Self Wound ability needs to be PER ENCOUNTER, also he needs some kind of fist passive that allows them more DR penetration. Maybe "Chi Fists" they glow blue and do -5 DR. He also needs DR bonus when wearing CLOTH.

Hard mode is too easy.
All the IE games were easier than PoE, are you telling me they were not superb classics due to this?

Ultimate DPS class? Rogue/Cipher/Barabarian?
Cipher.
- Monk build - Int as a dump stat?

Hard Difficulty
The bounties, endless dungeon, and simple DefianceBay quests result in over leveling for a lot of stuff. But apart from that spammable CC with no real dr that I can see and unkillable tanks is what cuases this.

Wizard and Cleric with spammable spells?
Yes, and its amazing. I wish it was a bit earlier, I can imagine cool builds around that staff spell. wtb mod.

Monk build - Int as a dump stat?
I'm going to build an awesome monk tank, since i've tried and tried but the dps build doesn't touch any of my ranged builds I've made on most classes. (even gun wizard who I'd consider my "main", guns 2 stronk). I'm going to dump Int, and Con will be left at 10 (my pally tanks with 8 con no problems). Decent per/res and then distribute Mig/Dex. Race will be Wild Orlean or Amthua. Chest will have to be high DR, 9-12. I'll need to then DW the two leech one-handers, and troll healing belt. Mig/Con ring. Con boots. Possibly deflect ring/cape/hat if he takes too much dmg. Does anyone know where to get those Monk Unique Gloves that give 2% more dmg per wound?

Hard mode is too easy.
let me guess, you spam rest each combat and use all the spells? Most classes have per encounter or resource moves that can be spammed. The classes that require resting are druid/wizard/priest and you don't need their overpowered spells unless it is a boss fight or one of the few overwhelming battles. I bring one Wizard with me incase things get out of hand, but for the most part his spells usually do not run out and I don't have to go out of my way to rest for him. Hard mode is only hard for the first few hours or until you figure out to spam CC and/or use guns.
