  1. Yeah my barb off-tank and druid kinda kill everything before my Wizard usually was able to put the two eye-icon buffs on himself, which is when I just replaced him lol.
  2. Max str/con/dt, put on a piece of retaliation gear, take one stands alone, and use a drain weapon. Then run into a group of mobs and see what happens Might not be as OP as cipher, which is why I put him under him.
  3. Top Cipher Barbarian (Bugged?) High Druid Chanter Medium Wizard Rogue Fighter Priest Low Paladin Ranger Monk None of this includes solo item/stealth cheesing. Purely PoTD normal play related.
  4. The lead designer of PoE does not like Wizards. They represent everything wrong about class design (according to his opinion). Right now even my fighter/tank is using more abilities per combat then my PC Wizard on auto-attack...Its really ironic... Good. Nice to play a system which doesn't dramatically favor wizards. For a change. That is no excuse for poorly balanced abilities or talents.... On my second PoTD play-through I'm fairly confident that bringing a (or another) Druid, Cipher, or a Retaliation Barb with a few CC scrolls is far superior to bringing a Wizard. But tbh, those classes might be OP via bugs and make most classes seem like junk (not just Wizzy).

  6. 80% is "Great" according to GS..... and it's 90%+ at MetaCritic. Whats with all the negativity.
  7. There's a mod that makes his Flame weapon have infinite casts, and he still sucks on anything but being an zdps off-tank.
  8. Today on my second PoTD play-through, I learned having another Cipher with a couple of paralysis scrolls >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wizard. By far. Like, it's not remotely on the same playing-field. Oh beta testers, were ya'll drunk ?   10. DND monks aren't just dudes who punch stuff, they put supernatural energies behind their attacks and into their body. My fav nwn/ie class.
  11. It's probably bugged lol, but the most fun I've had in this game. I'm totally face-rolling everything with a off-tank build built around it. I go in first and Eder behind me. Usually everything ends up killing themselves from Retaliation which works from OSA, before my party can even fire off a shot or before I can even Swing for even more obscene carnage damage.
  12. 1. Put guns/arb + Penetrating shots on everyone who isn't melee. Use the arrow ranged chant on Kana. (Which is still good) 2. Replace Pallegina with a Retaliation Barb. He'll probably be solo'ing everything if you send him in first (With Eder slightly behind, as backup + flood control).
  13. The casters are kind of limited in builds because of the rest system.
  14. What? Did you not exploit chokepoints in the original IE games? I sure as hell did. Not as much as this game, but that's because the original IE games had so many god-mode solo builds.
  15. People wouldn't do that if not for the dps/tank polarization + engagement system.
  16. While not as tanky as fighter, you can make an extremely hard to kill Barb build that does way more total dmg than nearly any other class. But it could be due to a skill that might be bugged. Max Con/Str, use Drain weapon (I find 2H to be best), use 1 Retal gear, One Stand Alone, and wear HP/DR/Con gear.
  17. Dont worry, you stop using fists as they don't scale well. You become a rogue without the cool crit talents and escape skills who has to take hits to do good dmg
  18. Keep Almost everything, except: -I wish first-aid talents scaled better, it would help Soak/Leech tanks . My poor Moon Retaliation Barb is always at max Endurance, yet his HP need frequent camping. -Separate Stealth would be welcome too. -Spell system could use become per-encounter a tad earlier for smoother gameplay.
