Can someone comment on the spellshaping?
Thanks for sharing your observations, Volsalex. Edit: And yes, making it a 2 PL increase and -4 decrease is a good idea.

Eder Romance
InsaneCommander replied to xandercolin's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This is the closest you can get to a romance with Eder, afaik: Edit: actually I didn't check all those options. My character wasn't interested in romances.

Romance Relationship questions
InsaneCommander replied to XEternalXDreamsX's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Don't worry. You'll meet with (some) of them again in PoE3. Good luck on your relationship though. Vela will be a gothic teenager and Bleak Walker apprentice, Eder will have his "son", Pallegina will blame you for something she did. And the gods only know what they will come up with.

How and at what level do you beat Cancelhaut?
InsaneCommander replied to abaris's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)There is a mod for Concelhaut. Not for Nemnok, but I love his line with Serafen.

[request] Rymrgand, Ondra, and Other Godlikes as a Blessing
InsaneCommander replied to warhaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)There is also the fact that One way or another, I wouldn't mind more options even if they came without the reactivity.

Megaboss 2: Giant Ooze Boogaloo
- Eder Romance
InsaneCommander replied to xandercolin's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This has been discussed exhaustively in the romance thread. So check that if you want a more profound discussion. I think the idea, basically, is that Palegina's history doesn't make her inclined to have relationships. She could fall in love, of course, but not everyone will be interested in the Watcher: a mentally troubled person that doesn't exact look like a stable partner. As for Eder, if he still has feelings for that woman, it will be more difficult to fall for someone else. Also: now he can have a pet with Berath's Blessing, so good luck competing with that.- [request] Rymrgand, Ondra, and Other Godlikes as a Blessing
InsaneCommander replied to warhaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I imagine the problem is that they would have to create new models. Otherwise you would have a copy of Tekehu and a copy of Vatnir. It may not look like too much work, but they certainly have more important things to do. Although... it is not a task for the people fixing bugs and writing the DLC story, so who knows? If it happens, I suggest also re-including in the game the PoE1 Death Godlike in my signature.- Megaboss 2: Giant Ooze Boogaloo
Interesting. Maybe use Embrace of the Earth Talon?- Companions story Classes and Abilities
InsaneCommander replied to esyvjrt's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I think the easiest one is Rekke. Since he is a missionary, he could be a Priest or maybe a Paladin.- UPDATE: v3.1.0 is now available on the Beta Branch
- Problem with God challenges, unable to change settings? (difficulty, ecc).
InsaneCommander replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yes, that is how it works for now. You can't use Berath's Blessings either. Edit: we have been discussing it and suggesting to remove the restriction. You could follow this thread.- Can someone comment on the spellshaping?
-5 PL is a lot. Well, good to know. With the precise value in mind, we can choose when to use the expanded area or the increased PL.- What did you do today?
I'm sorry Malcador. I lost a dog to cancer too, a few years ago. I know how it is.- [MECHANICS] "Loaded Pockets" Berath's Blessing
You can always put just a few points and make a specialist hireling later if necessary. One that is a member of the "Most Gentlemanly League of Murderhobos".- F U N N Y S T U F F
I've actually been in a similar situation once. The teacher asked us to write about how to recreate the human civilization after a disaster, with only ten people. He wanted to know what would be their gender, profession, age, etc. When I said the doctor had to be a man because the women would all be pregnant, a feminist in the room didn't like it. And it got worse when I changed my original list and said there would be only one man. lol Anyway, that was really funny. I think I'm following the wrong career. I should be a literature teacher.- Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Although I'm trying to avoid spoilers, this seems very interesting. Can you simply ignore their advice and do what you want? Or do they get pissed and resign?- Three red skulls difficulty level means... nothing?
InsaneCommander replied to xzar_monty's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I played on hard too and I vaguely remember some annoyance during that battle. Maybe there were some critters. Or it was just the weather.- Let's try again. Priest of Woedica and Steel Garrote as playable classes. DO IT!
InsaneCommander replied to AndreaColombo's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Don't think so cause another user said he got dialogue for solider. Hmm... good point. They could release a free DLC with these options. Extra backgrounds, cultures and so on. Even if there was little reactivity.- Premade characters in 3.1.0
Well, it is not difficult to imagine someone would try that. lol- An open letter to the devs about Magran's challenge
InsaneCommander replied to Mallard's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I actually wanna try it, but with a mostly pacifist run. Edit: spoilers - Eder Romance
