@Noqn I appreciate the response, & while I've got ya just wanted to thank you for your work on Apotheosis. It's a really impressive tool, & I think very intuitive. Killer work chief.1 point

Because every Riposte would trigger Carnage which would build up stacks of Static Charge/Thunder in an AoE. At least that's what I think was meant with "building up LDV stacks". It's a nice idea but I don't know if it will work well enough to be satisfying. That's an option, but you must max Intimidate then in order to reach +10 deflection. Also the AR isn't great. Imo Nomad's Brigandine (up to +10 melee deflection without skill investment) is the better pick because it also has higher AR and potential immunity to disengagement attacks - which turns them into 100% misses. This can contribute to more Ripostes when moving across the battlefield. Using Ardent as HP indicator is possible, but something like Blooded or Fighting Spirit is sufficient imo.1 point

I have a question as to whether something is possible in Apotheosis. Ultimately, I'd like to turn the Wintertide Bulwark into a bashing shield. My fiddling in the game data has led me to believe the main thing seperating bashing shields from the others is that they have a weapon component affixed alongside their shield & item components. Is their something I've missed that's more complicated, or is adding that component to an item just not something apotheosis can do/do yet?1 point

Pathfinder 1e is often described as D&D 3.75e. So it does have a lot of the same rules and mechanics bloat of D&D 3.5e. For me, D&D 3.5e is the best D&D edition, so I have no problem with Pathfinder. But others will disagree of course. But overall, P:Km is a great game. I played it with the strategic subgame turned on, and I actually enjoyed at least some of the elements of that part of the game.1 point

So, I was probably 36 when I first joined here? I'm sure I was jokingly calling myself an old lady/old fart back then. 20 years later, I'm still/also calling myself an old fart, but it means a little more now. If I'm lucky, 20 years from now, same. The definition of old fart is apparently ageless.1 point

Results of my test are: - Spell damage scales with character level but it can be penalized by low quality of equipped weapon. You need equipped weapon or offhand at least the tier of the enemy (in reach of 3 ranks) to not suffer penalty to damage done (this penalty scale also with difficulty settings). - Summoned weapons scale with the highest tier of equipped items - including boots, gloves, neklace, rings. Accessories don't have quality prefix but they are color coded (blue = fine, purple = excellent, red = superb, gold = legendary). Summoned weapons scale to both quality and rank of the highest quality armor or weapon (max to legendary +3), but in tests with accessory only summoned weapon always use its tier +0. - Skulls indicators aren't important. They inform of challange rating only. With tier II armor and tier I weapon enemy of tier II has no skulls while player is still penalized in terms of damage done, but he will receive normal damage from that enemy thanks to fine armor. Skulls are calculated based on all equipped items, but penalty to damage output and incoming damage are two separated things, realitve to enemy tier while damage is done.1 point

I spent the last 3 days putting ~2,000 comics in new short bins and trying to organize a little. Admittedly I gave up on the last 6 bins (or my back did) so I didn't actually keep track of what went into those bins other than to make sure a few small groups of comics weren't in them. Now I'll spend a few weekends writing what's in the bins in a more specific sense and all that so that once I've got everything in new bins I can start putting like titles together in some sort of logical way.1 point

I have been mulling over that for a while - if PoE3 were to happen, would it be a Watcher game? Really none of the PoEs were about the Watcher, and while his unique skills were used as a crutch as to why we are a chosen one (more so in the sequel), narratively he is irrelevant to the games main narrative. the main story best I would want to be followed through on is dealing with the consequences of Eothas’ actions in the finale of the Deadfire - and that could take place generations after the events of those games. You could be “reborn” watcher or something like that - though without the wheel it should be possible anymore, though I am sure one can write around it.1 point

Wish I could preorder the Switch 2.0 points

Preordered the Switch 2. I need to make an effort to use it more than my old OLED Switch, which sits mostly unused in the dock.0 points
