Me, staring at cards stuck to fridge: "Hm, dentist cleaning on the the 26th." Hubby: "That's still a long ways away, like a month and a half." Me: "It's less than 2 weeks." (at the time) Hubby: "I guess it's not October?" Me: "YES! *fist pump* I am not the only one losing their mind."3 points

Savegame file is actually zip file. You can unzip but you'll find a list of files which are no-text file and whoever knows what reader you need to read it. The question is: are we sure PoE1 choices are in these files? I've found an interesting suggestion here: Journal -> Journal tab (on the top of the menu, on PC at least) -> Biography He says that it doesn't cover everything, but you can give a try and let us know If I have time I wanna first understand where these information are and second, how to extract them...but I doubt I'll find time for that... but at least the first point, maybe... Edit: perhaps they can be found with console with command "DisplayLegacyHistoryWindow()" or something like that (see this and this) but this needs more exploration...2 points

Nothing exciting, just 2 minutes of monotony.... People sometimes raise an eyebrow or two when they find out my PC is connected to an UPS. But when you live where I live, it's not a luxury. Yesterday evening, while minding some meat on the BBQ, I took my phone and just shot 2 minutes of the night sky. Sometimes, weeks on end, every single afternoon and night, it looks like this... while my poor UPS is sweating and going <click><beep!>.... <click><beep!>... while compensating for power fluctuations2 points

You could export the variables from your Deadfire save using the console command "ExportGlobals". This creates a .txt file with the current state of every variable in a loaded Deadfire save. Including those of the PoE1 save you imported. Then just use the Creating a custom legacy history page on the wiki to make a list of the choices to take in the legacy creator that correspond to the variable status.1 point

I obviously adore Cardcaptor Sakura, that hasn't changed with re-watching it...but I did try to take a little more of a critical eye this time around, and it was interesting to compare against my viewing of Sailor Moon, which was, after all, my very first anime show. For both of them being magical girl shows with nominally many of the same qualities, they have very different strengths...and very different weaknesses. It'll be interesting to re-visit Sailor Moon once the outstanding issues I have with the current offerings resolve themselves, which could unfortunately still be years away at this point. I think Cardcaptor Sakura will always be the more complete experience (probably further aided by the fact that it's a tigther 70 episodes and 2 movies instead of 250 episodes and 3 movies), but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll enjoy it more. And on the subject of Madhouse animated shows, I truly hope that Madhouse's Azuki-chan will someday get English subtitles for the complete series. That's one that will seriously continue to perturb me until it happens, as I'm 99.9 percent confident that I will at least really like it, and there is very precious little of anything across any medium of entertainment that I feel 99.9% confident about really liking.1 point

It's funny how many things in Sailor Moon are good because the show only had a shoestring budget and was following a monthly manga. The episodes were pretty streamlined and felt tight because their actual runtime was not that long. Every episode has like 10% stock footage, not counting the opening, so there was much less runtime padding needed in dialogues. The understated and dream-like backdrops were fantastic and the fact that they couldn't follow the harebrained storyline lead to something that came together so nicely. Well, when the show was not revolving around pedophile unicorns with wings. Also, isn't it funny how a pedophile unicorn with wings is the worst thing the anime did, while for the manga that was just Tuesday? CCS on the other hand even had a new outfit for Sakura for each episode. I recall reading an interview where CLAMP stated that they wanted her to have more outfits instead of wearing the same costume for every episode, like in older magical girl animes. That extra production time had to come from somewhere. 's complaining on a very high level though. If all anime would be nearly as well written as CCS was I would be doing a lot less complaining.1 point

^ I saw the first season of From (thru MGM sub). It was pretty decent. Meant to watch more, but by the time the 2nd season came out, I ... didn't feel like it. Maybe one day. ======= Subbed to Paramount+, because of Matlock. I suspect after that I'll cancel it, although it will be a while (Matlock is at 6 episodes, I think it's supposed to be 18, and it ... was renewed for a 2nd already...). Anyway, because of that, over the weekend I tried: The Stand - ok, that 90's mini-series was sometimes cheesy and a few bad miscasts, but Gary Sinise and Ray Walston were highlights. Maybe this newer one will be better. I watched one episode and turned it off. I think it's even worse, including the casting. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - heard this was the best of the nuTrek. I like the actors for Pike and Uhura. I thought the first episode was horrible. What is this with Spock and T'Pring, is this alternate history. I say that because in Amok Time he kept staring intently at that picture of T'Pring as a child, as if he'd never seen her as an adult. Well, I guess we can hypothesize background for new stories...but it felt soul-icky for some reason. I don't like the Spock actor in this one either. And Pike with foreknowledge, ok. I fell asleep in the 2nd episode and woke up to maybe the 6th episode with Spock kissing Nurse Chapel on the bridge, filling the screen, wtf. Ok, no context, back to episode 2. I did like 2nd episode a lot better, it felt more adventure Star Trek-y. I get the feeling I'll like it when they're doing space/meet ppl on planets story bits, and dislike most of the interpersonal relationship/chr. stuff. But everything feels kind of ... stiff and unnatural. Maybe it's the dialogue. Maybe it's (most of ) the actors. Maybe it's all the shiny fancy tech of the ship vs. the ToS Enterprise period. I get it, needs updating, but it's a little over-much, akin to those movies. Maybe I've just forgotten what anything but the ToS pacing is like. Well, it's shortish, I suppose I can power through the rest. Edit: and no, I won't be watching any of the other nuTrek. The idea of following Pike's adventures, pre-James Kirk, was at least interesting on paper.1 point

I just started watching Shogun, its excellent. I have never really been that interested in Asian shows and movies outside of movies like the The Last Samurai which I enjoyed But Shogun captures historical Japanese culture in such an interesting way, really worthwhile series And then From, this has become my favourite supernatural\horror series of all time. You havent experienced true supernatural\horror entertainment until you have watched this series It is like nothing I have ever seen and its HIGHLY recommended https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_(TV_series) Here is the trailer1 point

I’m fairly sure the shrimp thing came from the same travel guide that introduced drop bears Ie an urban legend that exists overseas Usually I put steak or chicken on the bbq. Sometimes fish or vegetables. Some mornings I do egg and bacon on it edit something I grew quite fond of is mushrooms with lots of thyme1 point

I love lightning storms, and I'm quite jealous that you saw more lightning in two minutes than I did during the entire year. On another point, meat is all fine and good, but did you put shrimp on the barbie?1 point

So the patch is out and I've checked out Gold Dragon 1. Gold Dragon form now works with Shifter's Fury so you can now get multiple attacks. It does not seem to work with Wildshape specific feats though. Given some of the spell synergy (ie +3 attacks for a minute - Gold Dragon form only), I imagine a Gold Dragon Shifter would actually want to run as a Fiendflesh to take advantage of aspects. 2. The breath stuff is a selectable special ability every mythic rank, with an extra at 10. There's 10 options, 6 standard, and 2 each for regular and corrupted. They seem pretty good but with the breath being a standard action you may have better **** to do that blast it. If my reading is right it can be really strong, with a corrupted dragon hitting for 35 d8 +35 d8 on living enemies with a relatively big dc. 3. A third level 10 spellbook has hit the game. It's ok, there's no unique spells outside of 8,9, and 10 and it's direct damage, summons, and some personal buffs. Notably, you can keep merged spells from your previous path if you merged.1 point

Nevermind, I could do it quick and dirty by comparing the parsed expression text... 2024-10-26 Users can now select "Find Similar" when clicking Conditional or Script rows. It can be written like this: *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites != "" *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites = "IsHealthPercentage(This, LessThanOrEqualTo, 50)" you can also use &= to find conditionals with partial matches (see more here https://gitlab.com/noqn/apotheosis/-/wikis/General-Instructions/Queries#string-selector) *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites &= "IsHealthPercentage("1 point

You already added it, that's insane! Edit: Tried it out and it works perfectly. I hoped that I could search condition as well as I can't figure out how to input them in the search query. How do you search for empty, not empty and "IsHealthPercentage(This, LessThanOrEqualTo, 50)" ActivationPrequistes? I tried the following but none seem to work: *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=empty *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=null *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=" " *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites!=empty not *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=empty *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=not empty *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites=IsHealthPercentage(This, LessThanOrEqualTo, 50) *GenericAbility.ActivationPrerequisites="IsHealthPercentage(This, LessThanOrEqualTo, 50)"1 point

2024-10-25 Right-clicking a value in a GameData tab and selecting "Find Similar" will open the Query sidebar and search for other objects that has a matching value. I think this is going to be insanely convenient, thanks for the idea @Cmushi1 point
