  2. I wanted to like Cyberpunk with all my little black heart but it's not at all what I wanted. I keep hovering over the buy button for the Idris pack but something stops me from pulling the trigger. Anyways, I just finished a replay of Dragonfall and Hong kong. What I wouldn't do for more good Shadowrun games.

  3. I'll have to retract a bit on this, the last few bosses are really tough. So either be good, or grind lots. Turns into more of a diablo-like arpg at that point.

  4. Very much depends on the game. There's a lot of outdated information because back in the day, MS Store titles were distributed as UWP Apps which pretty much meant no modding at all. Those days are gone and the games are just standard Win32 apps now and most can be modded just fine, but the reputation persists. Bethesda games are a bit of an outlier because of their reliance on the third-party script extenders for the more complex mods, most famously SKSE for Skyrim, alongside F4SE for Fallout 4 and now SFSE for Starfield. This is a dependency for many mods, so mods that require it won't work. There's currently no official way to load them with MS Store versions of the games, but the good news is that there is some progress by third-parties who have now got it working (technical details here). Note that I've no knowledge of any bugs or limitations it may have as I haven't played Starfield since launch day and thus never actually tried modding it - I got a total of around 3 hours in before quitting of boredom. Anyway, the original authors of it have no interest in enabling MS Store compatibility and the devs of this side-project don't have the rights to distribute the SFSE code, hence the oddness of their release being a hex mod for the official SFSE release. Would be nice if they could come to an agreement someday to make it as easy as installing it on the Steam/GOG version.

  5. Hey guys, Just want to share some of my feelings about this fantastic game. I am old enough to have played old jewells like BG1, BG2, recently I have also played PK, PWOTR, BG3... and now I am back to POE (I finished both POE1 and POE2 quite a long time ago) because no fantasy RPG gives me as much as roleplaying satisfaction as POE. There are so many small things that I love (no pre-combat buffing, armor damage reduction, only a few "quickslots", dialogue choices, companions I actually really like (Edér, Aloth, Kana, hate Durance though , fantastic visuals). Also after finishing BG3 (which is a great game IMO) I am now able to really appreciate the beauty of RTWP system. I remember that few years ago I did not like it much because the combat was very hectic but now I know it just takes some time to learn it properly and then it feels great. Also I am quite positively shocked that a new patch for POE just came out . Cheers

  6. Pathfinder: Kingmaker Edit: Tehehe, the retroactive admin approval of the post above makes it look like I'm a total idiot. Love it.

  7. Kind of interesting that we also got 'Vice President Trump' from Biden today as well. If his only issue was mixing up friends' and enemies' names it'd all be a bit of a laugh.

  8. Can't be that bad. At least if we all die in a nuclear war, I don't have to attend my 7am meetings...

  10. Didn't posit otherwise. "Inherent" is definitely wrong term Poor Biden, getting BBC alerts on his gaffes now https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/ce78zklp77wo

  11. No, but Black and Latino communities are often religious, and religion tends to lean conservative. The Catholic Church has a lot of sway with Latino voters.

  12. Finally, I have uploaded all of my DSR NG+ victories to Youtube, soo, if anyone would like to see, how my first ever melee walkthrough of the game went closer to the platinum finish line, feel free to enjoy disclaimer: this old man still needs to git gud

  13. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F I loved it. I mean, check your brain at the door, its an homage to the 80's action movie to a "T" (including unnecessarily destructive car chases) and it leans into that motif in a good way. Nice seeing the old gang again too.

  14. I think I've owned every Obsidian game to date. Not sure, but I think so. Considering I'm practicing thread necromancy, I'd better explain this is the first time I've seen this trailer. Then I saw another one clearly farther along on YouTube. Then I saw one with some gameplay on Steam. I'll buy it, sight unseen, because I'm a kind of a lurker fanboy, but it looks good. I get the impression we get to choose our side(s)? I hope being the nominal good guy is hard and being the actual good guy is genuinely tough. I would buy it unfinished and then play the finished product after the full release date hits, as is my custom, but that wasn't a Steam option. I loved Outer Worlds, which was an FPS RPG also a la Prey. This one seems more hardcore RPG, which is also good. I know virtually nothing about the game except for the little I've seen here and I think I'll keep it that way. I'm praying the 2024 release date is still on the docket, but I probably won't have time to play it until next year anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

  15. Still here. Still waiting for PoE3. If it is not coming soon, we will have to make it ourselves.

  16. It's not a view, it is just a statement of fact. The only way one can consider this is not a fight for democracy and the rule of law in the US is if you believe the fight has already been lost. Between the fall of Roe v Wade, the ruling on Presidential immunity for official acts, and the gutting of chevron deference, perhaps the game is already done, even if Trump loses the election. I guess that to roll back what has already happened, then the next election would have to give the dems the presidency, the house and a 60 seat majority in the Senate. But I'd really like someone more knowledgeable than me to chime in.

  17. On Instagram I started counting how many "sponsored" posts show up for every post of a person I follow. It is about 12 - 1.
