  1. Is Bruce a Star Trek Discovery writer putting his favourite obsidz board member into the show as a tribute? I think this is conclusive proof for that theory.

  2. i wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life another way to look at is is that she made it to 99 and looked like she were enjoying life far more than most folks we know in their mid 80s... and some in their 70s. from our pov she won, as much as anybody can win. HA! Good Fun!

  3. I didn't have any more patience in waiting for my water to thaw, so I did it the hard way. Filled a 50L milk can with hot water from a neighbour, undid the watertubes and pumped warm water down the tubes until it came loose, then I fastened everything back together and used the milk can to fill the system back up with water so the pump would work. Running water is so nice! Now I just have to wait and see if the water heater works properly or if I have to go rummage about looking for the overheatprotection reset.

  4. Hi Folks, A SC Wizard using the permanent spell steal trick from Major Grimoire Imprint can permasteal Finishing Blow from a Priest of Skaen, and permanently have Champion's Boon, Minor Avatar, Citzal Martial Power and Zandethu Draconic Fury available as well. Now cast all those spells with Citzal Enchanted Armory, and you can indefinitely spam Finishing Blow with Tenacious, a ton of bonus Accuracy, bonus melee damage, a huge damage lash, and a Mythic 2-hander in each hand and a zero recovery Mythic armor (with BPM). Fun and visually beautiful! Edèr: You know Aloth, I think you're a talented caster and all, but you are really s**tty at close-quarter combat. Aloth: Hold my beer, blondie.

  6. Oh my gosh, screw these forums, I wrote a reply and the forum neither posted it nor kept a draft. I miss the days of Firefox' Lazarus auto-text recovery extension working so I didn't have to worry about this. 1. Is Captain Malfoy also a terrible character? Please tell me it isn't so! ...This is Discovery, everything is terrible. 2. They just...decided she's a new lifeform? Just like that? A short discussion and "yep, you're a new lifeform" - that's how it works in this? 3. The general quality of dialogue writing: The good news is...they're going to renew this for another 6 seasons because of your loyal and enduring support!

  8. This morning I'm working on my laptop and I keep hearing text messages come in on the phone. I get at least 200 SMS a day for work so I'm not paying much attention. G comes in the room with my phone and says I have like a to of texts. I just laughed and told her she can answer them if she likes. She said she wouldn't know what to say. I said "just make something up". I told I do that more ofthen than you'd believe! So anyway she is flipping through them then comes up to me and gives me a big, passionate kiss... and takes a pic of it. She smiles, walks away and I hear the sound of a SMS being sent. Who did that one go to I asked. "Your ex-wife" she said with a laugh! That WAS funny. But man she does have a serious jealous streak.

  9. Yeah, it's a real shame. I can't think of anything she was in that I disliked and from all accounts she was a very pleasant person. I guess Lake Placid is something fun to (re)watch. I'd like to say I think 2022 will be better, but I'd be lying to myself.

  10. Yeah. I guess, in a sense, at least we can also attribute it to 2021 instead of the new year, which would've been a terrible way to start 2022. She was seven years Anne Frank's and Martin Luther King Jr.'s senior...man, that's old. To have your full mental faculties during that entire time and then die peacefully in your sleep one day near your 100th birthday...better than any of us can hope to expect, that's for sure.

  14. clerics or the like is ordinarily our go to to choice in crpgs. however, for pathfinder 1e pnp we were always a fan o' inquisitors, albeit mostly 'cause o' skills and the ability to make an actual useful ranged character. crpg wotr angel clerics is kinda op, so we skipped, but inquisitors ain't bad neither. sacred huntsmasters and sanctified slayers is amongst our two favorite wotr archetypes, and perhaps counter-intuitive, the crappy capstone ability for inquisitors increases their appeal for us as they have a sorta level sixteen sweetspot, which means three-to-four levels o' multiclassing gives 'em added flexibility. shady could make an inquisitor o' desna, which admitted requires a bit o' mental gymnastics. rid the world o' hulrun as kinda divine justice? a hulrunless wotr does make a couple later act encounters problematic, but on the plus side o' the ledger, perhaps hulrun may rest a bit easier knowing the considerable good use seelah achieves smiting evil with his sword during the early game. then again, wotr magus sword saints produce the similar kinda silly damage as they did in kingmaker, but you gotta follow a pretty freaking exact meta build plan to get the most outta 'em. 'course the vital strike damage in the multiple thousands is kinda a h00t. HA! Good Fun!

  17. Not sure there really is a formula for economic success any more. At least raw materials (inc food, and for Russia, energy) are things that will always be needed. Most of the Service economies are bubbles waiting to pop, underpinned by fantasy and money printing.

  18. thanks to a not good movie, there were a thankful brief period o' time during the 90s when, if you were dating, you better be certain to say "bless you," when somebody sneezed. lord knows how tedious such could be if you dated a woman who had seasonal allergies or hay fever. HA! Good Fun!

  19. 60% of the Russian and Ukrainian economies are in exporting raw materials. That's not a formula for economic success.

  21. i phrased it badly, what i mean is, for example, if you have a ranger/priest to get champion's boon+stalker's link on your pet, is there anything special about it versus a ranger and a priest separately (answer, no: a separate priest can still cast champion's boon on a separate ranger's stalker's link pet)? not literally take up an additional party slot, but does combining the two actually get anything new (the sum is more than the parts), or could you get the same outcomes through other setups and you don't have to have it via multiclass.

  22. Great news, its our first sunny day since the 21st at our beach cottage so I thought I would take some pictures of the beautiful scenery. The beach photos are taken from the deck outside and its about 6 meters to the beach, its at high tide so you cant see the real beauty of the rock pools. The entire beach is known as a private beach which means no shark nets or lifeguards and this area is now deemed a Conservancy by the SA National Parks which means no fishing or catching of any sea creatures like lobster, crayfish, muscles or sea urchins. Then one of brothers and his wife are at a game reserve about an hour from the beach cottage and they took these animals pics from game drive vehicle, the one photo has a Buffalo hiding in the bushes

  23. big short were enjoyable and mostly accurate, but the movie writers bent over backwards trying to avoid throwing clinton under the bus. you would think that the guy who championed the bank deregulation which the characters in the movie is constant lamenting would be getting more prominent attention, but nope. were just one example o' curious narrative choices. even so, were worth the viewing. HA! Good Fun!
