jowe 3
Can you make it available for download? Put it on some cloud service or let us download it from your servers. Just make it available so GoG users can play over the weekend.
Agremont 57
Yeah I'm waiting for the patch as well. How long does it typically take for GOG to get a patch up?
R.Alexander 25
By the time they made and tested a standalone patcher, it would probably be up on GOG. Assuming they haven't already made one.
PrimeJunta 6,517
They're working on a standalone patcher which should be ready to go by the time physical-tier backers get their DVD's. Or thus I have heard. Quote I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com
vattghern 116
By the time GOG gets the patch, Obs will likely have already released the next one. In the meantime you can grab the unofficial update off the internets - at your own risk ofc.

assemblerhead 0
GOG is extremly slow on passing on updates. I speak from 5+ years of experience as one of thier customers. Standard Delay : 3 to 8 WEEKS, if your lucky! If they mess up the patching process for the "downloadable installer", they don't fix it. And you, as a customer, have no way of letting them know they need to fix it. Example : the game "Evil Genius" sold by GOG Claims to be patched to 1.01 They ship version 1.0 ( No DRM ) .exe with all the other files version 1.01( ??? ) So, A standalone ( patch / patcher ) direct from Obsidian would be ideal. SpacemanSPD 0
[...] In the meantime you can grab the unofficial update off the internets - at your own risk ofc. People keep saying this, but for the life of me I cannot find any unofficial 1.03 patch anywhere.
Zitchiock 38
Hm, I didn't realize that GOG patches were slower than Steam. Ah well. Looking forward to the 1.03 patch, mostly for the anti-aliasing toggle. Having to command enter it in after each transition is a bit bothersome.
bonegolem 7
Hopefully it comes soon. I'd rather not have to download 6 gigs again with my carrier-pigeon based internet connection.
pstone 55
Really regret getting the GOG version, should have gone with Steam. You are aware the patch introduced all kinds of new bugs, right ? Look at the threads of steam users unable to loot chests etc.

Nice, i must have missed the second patch (probably cause it didn't get an extra version number increase). In that case, i look forward to the GOG adaptation.
RevBlue 68
it should only be delayed 3-4 days I heard? Thats not so bad
SeekDWay 49
it should only be delayed 3-4 days I heard? Thats not so bad Depending on how they handle the hotfix they released after. Still I don't mind waiting a few days. It's just regretable that we have to wait during the weekend. :D Quote Derpdragon of the Obsidian OrderDerpdragons everywhere. I like spears. R.Alexander 25
I'm okay with waiting, but I haven't run into a single bug yet. I would like to experience the balance changes though.
endruwiggin 49
GoG are not that slow on patching, give them couple of days. Besides as pointed out before, no one will die from delayed patch and maybe its better attitude not to anxiously wait for it anyway
Kimuji 135
Especially if it means not having to wait for a hotfix because the patch broke something (if GOG doesn't forget to include the said hotfix that is ).
elco 0
The patch is out on GoG, but you may have to refresh the page to get it to show up. We are still waiting on the hotfix though, but that just came out this morning.
Valsuelm 1,122
GoG are not that slow on patching, give them couple of days. Besides as pointed out before, no one will die from delayed patch and maybe its better attitude not to anxiously wait for it anyway An amusing yet dark bit of humor: In ~50 years when some of these folks who need insta-gratification, have the attention span of a rabbit on crack, and just generally freak out about little things.... people just might die from a delayed patch due to a heart attack or stroking out.... Put some of these folks into an even well taken care of 80 year old body and that's what's likely to happen. Hopefully somewhere along the way they learn a bit of patience and how to mellow out, or they probably won't even make it to 65, let alone 80.
