IGN has 4 minutes of off-screen gameplay from Gamescom up.  I can't find it on youtube yet, so you'll have to watch it through their page:

Obviously, that's a small snippet and there's gotta be more to the game than that, but that looks boring as hell.

Yeah, I stopped watching after 2 minutes out of boredom. It looked like mediocre copy of diablo with much worse camera.

This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

To me it looks like a MMO, and not a good one, with the kill a bunch of mobs in a room, lift the barrier, kill a bunch of mobs in a room, lift the barrier, lather, rinse repeat combat.  Supposedly it's not a MMO, but 4 vs. 1 online co-op.

I dunno, I'll need to see more. As an action RPG fan, that footage doesn't win me over or repulse me.

Here's the same video on youtube, so now folks can watch it embedded here, and not have to go to IGN:

I'm underwhelmed.  It's still early but if this is indeed a co-op then I'm not interested.

It being a co-op is the only way it would interest me. Too bad, the trailers looked interesting.

So Bioware have solved the enemies dropping from the sky problem by having them.....pop out of the ground?  No interest generated here.

At least you made it to 2 minutes!

I can honestly say I have no idea wtf is going on anymore the only thing that amazed me was just how far away that apple is from the tree.

It depends on the type of co-op. I'm out of anything that involved an constant, easy internet connection.

Bonus points for showing PC controls, but it seems to be some sort online multiplayer hack&slash ARPG combination, so it is possibility that they will not release it on consoles.

As game it don't seem such that interest me as I am not big fan of multiplayer only games.

Honestly I don't really buy Bioware games for the combat, so this does nothing good or bad for me.

At the end there is "You must gather your party before venturing forth" :)

This does not look a game I would play, but it will certainly have its crowd, probably people that liked DDO a lot.

You lost me at "multiplayer game".

I haven't had a chance to see the video but if I can't play it by myself (mmo is fine but co-op only is not) then I'm no longer interested.

One player takes the role of the Shadowlord, sending Shadow Legions, traps and environmental effects against the others, whose characters have recently awoken with magical powers in a formerly non-magical world.

Yeah, that's me not interested anymore. I don't want to play any game where I'm forced to play with another player.

Honestly that sounds like a minigame, rather than the premise for a full title.  Like some sort of multiplayer component they would tack onto Mass Effect.

I'd say it sounds like a Wii U game, more specifically like all the 5 player multiplayer games in Nintendoland.

A single player heroes-esque real-world with powers game I would totally play. This, not so much.

That sounds absolutely boring.

And like you, I'd rather not be forced to play with other players.

Yeah, skip.

Apparently they are going to have this playable at PAX Prime next week. I can't wait to get my hands on it and really see what it is going to be all about.
