Blodhemn
Skyrim story is about 10x worse than FO3 to me. It's so bland and boring that it shouldn't even have been included. Morrowind's lack of main narrative was a much better approach - a few scattered big story moments with a lot of the bulk moreso left to the imagination. Hurlshort
Morrowind was also just a better setting overall. Skyrim, while better than Oblivion, is still a very generic setting. There are only so many snowy and mountainous towns I want to visit before I get bored.
Malcador
Just fought the Bunker boss in BL2, oy was that a long fight. Why has elegance found so little following? alanschu
DAMN YOU GORTH! Currently making sense out of the new changes to WITP and sorting out Dec 8, 1941... I see upgrading planes to a different type (than the expected upgrade) now costs PP.

Gorth
DAMN YOU GORTH! alanschu
LOL nice. The first couple of days are so time intensive.... SO MUCH TO DO. Tale
Lorne fight was easier than I ever remember it. He went down in three hits! Maybe because I'm Chaotic Good this time, not Lawful Evil. GhostofAnakin
Some of these side missions in BL2 are more difficult than the main story missions. This one mission, where I'm to escort some giant machine to destroy a bunch of statues, is annoying because I have to keep the thing "alive" while swarms of enemies keep charging at it. The enemies aren't even that difficult to beat, but it's the fact it takes a while to defeat some of them ... and all that time they're dwindling my escort's health bar down. Drowsy Emperor
Dunno, Oblivion and F3 are about the same, except F3 had more novelty value with its setting. Since no one is saying Skyrim is far superior to either I'm not too eager to play it. entrerix
skyrim is far superior to oblivion, but not fallout 3. those two are pretty close in quality Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete. Morgoth
Fallout 3 was Bethesda's best game so far. Compared to NV however it still pales. Rain makes everything better.
alanschu
4 of my own subs have hit mines off the Bataan peninsula in the first 3 days of the war! (This is my own minefield) SO MUCH RAGE
WorstUsernameEver
Morrowind's lack of main narrative was a much better approach - a few scattered big story moments with a lot of the bulk moreso left to the imagination. How did Morrowind not have a main quest? It would sometimes tell you "hey I guess you should do some sidequests now" and felt a bit less urgent, but it wasn't any less of a main quest. LadyCrimson
BL2 - I'm definitely tired of the pattern the game uses of making you chase map-diamond locations in a circle around the area. Sometimes it's really contrived and irritating, making the game feel like chase-the-diamond and nothing else. We're at the supposed final battle now - leaving that for tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be fun...the boss/minion arena fights have been the best thing in the game to me. Every time we do a side mission, I get a little bored or irritated. It's the compete opposite of BL1, where I liked the general gameplay better than the bossfights. “Things are as they are. Labadal
Playing Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. It doesn't have the charm of the 2008 PoP game. AW8
471(!) hours in on this character and I'm still playing Skyrim. It may be that Skyrim['s] story is [...] so bland and boring that it shouldn't even have been included, but I still have quests to complete and dungeons to clear in this open-world action/stealth house decoration simulator with RPG elements. Right now I'm playing through the College of Winterhold and I don't really know why I should even care for these idiots or what my goal is, but the appearences of the Psijic Order and the Synod have been interesting, if only for lore reasons in the latter's case. I occasionally return to my Solitude house to continue my work on filling two cauldrons with jewels. https://dl.dropbox.c...09-02-30-88.jpg I've also started up Borderlands 2 but that's currently on hold as I had this current Skyrim relapse. Lynchwood, which I just reached yesterday, is pretty maze like for the quests. The boss fight with Angel with 3 players was pretty hectic, although 3 sirens does make it easier with all the CC available Why has elegance found so little following?
