Generally in Bethesda's games that use this engine, turning off all autosave functions (save on travel, save on rest etc) is considered pretty much mandatory to minimizing lock-ups. Not that it affects everybody or anybody all the time but it's a known culprit for crashes.

I must have been very lucky with FO3 because I only remember the odd CDT, no hard locking. Not going to trust the quicksave button though, it's going to be miles and miles of save games as per usual.

I expect all forums to run like Obsidian's, and when they don't... I get upset.

 

To be fair to Todd Howard, I imagine that the Bethesda forum are much more trafficked too. That doesn't explain the not completely efficient layout (which, by the way, they changed to a couple of months ago, they had a better one!).

 

I don't mean I click and it takes a while to move pages, I mean, I can't actually scroll up and down quickly in IE. It slows my work computer to a crawl ITS POO! No I can't use firefox, IT just say "NO!"

If you're selling stuff because you are running out of storage space you might want to carry an enemies' head with you since they have infinate storage space.

I'm selling stuff because I don't want it. Like I'm ever going to use a 9mm round or submachine gun ever again.

Does Luck really affect gambling that much? Does being banned from casinos lock you from quests too?

Yes, luck effects casinos. Or rather, all data I've been presented with implies as such. I'm not looked through the scripts.

I know that. What I'm asking is, if I have, say, Luck 9, do I risk being banned from the casinos that quickly? Or is that pretty much a 1 in a million kind of occurrence?

It's not a trivial effect, if that's your question.

 

Though it might be. Haven't looked at the scripts. I just know people with luck 1 report never having any chance whatsoever of winning. And people with high luck getting banned regularly.

Quite a shoddy piece. A quick research would have clarified why the Caesar's Legion pronounces Caesar the way they do, for one. Not to mention the absurd complaint about voice acting.

I'm gonna go ahead and pretend C2B has only 269 posts.

Like I did with FO3, DA and other games im going to wait for the first large patch, then buy/play it. As I have discovered a little patience goes a long way with it comes to the long term enjoyment factor in this regard.

Nothing funny about Caeser's Legion? I'd think a bunch of guys taking a casino theme too literally would qualify as pretty funny.
