  1. A person(mage or eternity equivalent) with multiple souls that he/she can't "tune out". So for everyone else he/she seems to be hardcore schizophrenic. Also, he/she would be quite powerful, but with rather high chance for critical failures wildmage style.
  2. 1000 years of darkness!!1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg14hRntRpg
  3. Actually this isn't confirmed anywhere. Isometric refers to certain fixed camera angle not if it's 2D or 3D.
  4. Other: All of the above. What I mean is I want good variety with quests, from combat oriented to open ended text flavored to exploration based quests.
  5. I don't see this as morally wrong or anything, if the publisher is honest about it. It's just a bad deal.
  6. After listening to the first kickstarter video, my vote goes to Justin Bell. He's here, he's willing and he's good.
  7. yeah, bunch of people often forget this. why would someone invent firearms in a fantasy world where you have magic, you have wizards that can use firebals or lightning bolts or something (if magic in that setting alows fors such spells ofc), maybe you can even enchant regular arows so they can do all sorts of crazy stuff. early, primitive firearms would be very expensive, slow and impractical and would not like offer any advantages over magic. "Why would someone invent firearms in a fantasy world where you have magic?" Because not everyone can use magic. Actually if you think about it, a world where someone can throw fireballs and others can't, would be a very fruitful place for scientific progress. Non-mages would want to level the playfield and seek other paths to power.
  8. Doing something hard and getting that extra pat on the back in form of an achievement can be fun.
  9. While she does join your party immediately after the introductory cutscene, you can dismiss her with just two clicks. She doesn't have to stay in the party in order for the game to progress. That's not how I remember it. She even had some weird magic belt or something that made killing her impossible, before she was kidnapped by Irenicus. I might be wrong. It's been years since I last played BG2.
  10. Me too, but the cake explanation helped. Everything is easier to understand with cake.
  11. This is not a proper oldies thread until Sargy posts that he loves everybody.
  12. Besides two of those days were weekend days. You know, the days when no one at Obsidian is working.
  13. Oh, and when the player has completed the quest and comes back for reward Hades has changed his name to Sand and claims he doesn't know the player.
  14. Please don't let the countdown be a countdown to another countdown. I freaking hate those things.
