When you play a mod created by other players, do you import a character or start anew? I figure the latter because imported toons will be too powerful but maybe the editor allows you to create "high level" campaigns?

Interesting. Is that a recent change or has it always been that way (only fighters recover Stamina during combat)? Also, are you using the term fighter literally? The same does not occur with fighterly classes like Paladin/Cleric/Barb?

That's the same build I used (FYI, don't bother with the shotgun spec, its crap). Like I said, Im sure its due to my lack of twitch skill but by the end-ish of the game, at max level, I was just getting swarmed under in the boss fight and the normal mook fights devolved into kiting huge mobs until I wore them down.

My Van Helsing game came to a skidding halt due to lack of player skill. IIRC, Im maxed out on the character level (30) but I came up against some guy driving a huge robot that I just cant beat. That and it feels like playing a ranged character is kind of a waste since all enemies employ the same strategy to simply bum rush you and overwhelm you with numbers. Need to pick it up and try a few more times.

^I would be shocked to see a stealth system that calculates on the fly each individual monsters detection vs each party member, but I guess its not out of the realm of possibility. Sawyer states in plain English: So I think we can just take that at face value.

Both of my sea duty tours were on carriers, CVN-65 USS Enterprise and CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln. Thank god I wasn't on one of the small boys (destroyers, cruisers). We used to stand in the hanger bay and watch them get tossed around by the ocean while we barely felt anything.

Happy Birthday Malcador!!!! Joining the military was also the smartest decision Ive ever made. I was in the same position; only a HS education, working as a dishwasher with no future in sight. Joined the Navy and they housed, fed and educated me while taking me around the world twice. I sometimes wish I could go back and do it all again.
