  1. That's right and Stamina regeneration makes it harder for you to be knocked out. Ok, now that we've established the basics maybe we can move on. How does that affect the fact that you can be at full Stamina and still die to the next attack because your Health is low?
  2. Within an existing battle that you have already engaged in? I completely agree but what's really the choice in that case? Its win or die. Im talking about after that fight. Every subsequent fight slowly whittles down your Health a little more and soon, regardless of player skill or equipment, you have no other choice but to retreat to the "rest spot" to recover Health.
  3. What? You get knocked out on zero Stamina, (kinda) dead at zero Health.
  4. I would be curious to hear you expand on this point. IMO, its nothing more than a case of diminishing returns. We know that 95% of attacks against the player will cause damage and that all damage is dealt across both Stamina and Health at some ratio. We also know that the one and only way to replenish Health is to rest, which can only be done at specific locations. With that in mind, it seems obvious to me that regardless of Stamina regeneration or abilities, your Health can only go down. So it doesn't matter at all if you are at full Stamina if you are one Health hit away from dropping dead.
  5. Maybe if players drink the expired potion it will cause a catastrophic explosion in their pants and give them a dysentery debuff?
  6. Why bother advancing past level one? If all things are going to scale to equality then what's the point?
  7. Can someone please provide an example where in the IE games of yore, the inspiration for PE, there are HP sponge enemies and where you never have to use skills or talents to win battles?

  10. I like this idea. Maybe a "gunner" type character that via talents/skills allows faster firing and the ability to add various effects to the projectile with soul power.
  11. Oh yeah, good point. That probably rules out any form of chunking too, like from a crit.
  12. What happens if a couple characters get chunked? I guess you just have to roll with an undermanned party or go make a few non-reactive NPC's in the Adventurers Hall. Of course, I will just reload.
  13. I think guns and ammo should be treated like bows and arrows and should be enchantable. Maybe the weapons themselves could have "to hit" bonuses and the ammo could offer some flavor like exploding or poison?
  14. I doubt it would go down like that. If anything, he will most likely trip and fall into a shallow grave filled with lye. Years from now there will be unconfirmed sightings of him having lunch with Elvis.

    I understand you want to be protective to your daughter but don't you think those Russian ladies look sexy and elegant, not slutty at all? That's a nice combination and something positive? Of course they are hot but if I can see your thong-ed ass through your sheer lace dress, that's pretty slutty. I gotta get me one of those Russian fur hats, ushanka.
  18. I believe things like Pick locks and Disarm Traps will fall into the non-combat skills category, which if I have interpreted the developers correctly, can be taken by any class. So your concept should be doable.
  19. I ran into that same problem, lack of satellites. And they take like a month to build, right? I was also having my panic levels rise unchecked because I didn't have a fighter to cover every continent.
  20. Time is on my side, yes it is. Unless they plan on housing them for life, they will eventually get picked up.
