Well, game is not ment to be played solo, so you are gimping yourself on your own decision - not a problem of a game

Monk is just great, at start he is little too squishy and doesnt have that damage, but man once you start leveling up he is a beast. Just put some armor on on lower levels and you are set. I am lvl 8 and still using exceptional leather armor because I dont want to go down too fast

Hi Barbarian can be great damage dealer but you have to be carefull because he is kinda squishy if you build him only for damage, he got low deflection and can get ass kicked when surrounded, monk seems better as dps/tank hybrid

well 5 points in reslove/perception is 5 deflection. Its worth of whole talent so I would not dismiss them so easily. But yeah, not worth for ranged characters

I found out that its not best idea to min/max in PoE. Even when you dont expect your character to be engaged he often end up in it and then its reasonable to have some deflection and armor reduction for at least mele characters

That's my concern, a person could use this bill to discriminate against any group of people that they have some personal issue with and then claim they not discriminating but rather its there "religious right " to do this and they would be protected from being sued due to this bill Well if you can discriminate any group of people, is it still discrimination? xD

I think its possible with tanky classes, but it will not work on all wizards for example, I htink that most viable would be 6 fighters party

I would drop wizard and druid for something more frontline oriented personaly, chanter is good, paladin for auras or barbarian. Cypher is probably better than wizard for backliner I think.

Honestly, once I finish my current walkthrough I will make custom party with at least 2 fighters, 2 handed swords and full plate, balanced offense and defense stats. I think Fighter is best class in game currently.

pick reload speed talent and chanters chant for reload speed and you will see they are viable

Nah, I dont think you screwed your character, you just to have play to its stats. I myslef got similiar stats (less con, more dex and resolve) and I am doing quite fine so far. One thing you should do with such stats is not being hit by too much enemies. Get some frontline tank and use your monk as offlane tank fighting only one or two enemies. that way you will have enough wounds to kill him before he can kill you. Also consider wearing some heavier armor (I myself using padded and laying on the ground most time ) so you dont drop low too fast and have time to heal with your priest/druid/potion

Well thats very hard to answear, every point of damage reduction is slowing you by 5% so balance is really up to you. if you will use someone else as tank you can run aroud only in cloth, but I would not recommend it as I often end up getting attacked sooner or later. about other stats, well might is good for damage, but you will then loose most points for deflection, it may be good idea to go with deflection stats - perception and resolve

I got dual swords on one set and bare fistg on other, so I got covered most damage types, I must saz taht hands seems to be better for now, swords are not too good against most tzpes of enemies I fight so far

Yeah, swift strikes are good, what I probably screwed in my build was turning wheel pick up, because i usualy spend my wounds rather than take bonus damage from it, oh well mistakes being made

Hi, not sure what do you mean by 2-handed fast speed fighter. Best speed you get with 2 weapons set, two handed weapons are slowest. As for rogue skills, mechanics and stealth can be used by all classes so it doesnt matter what class you are going for lockpicking/stealth If you mean backstabbing then rogue is only option Stat you want maxed is dexterity as you can get 30% attack speed boost with it. Monk may be good option for you as you can futher gain another speed boost with skill 'swift strikes'. Dont worry, monk can wear any armor or weapon as all other classes so you can look like warrior in plate with great sword if its what you are looking for. Just to warn you tho, Armor is reducing your attack speed so if you want to be attacking fast, you will have to sacrifice your damage reduction. Other options are: Barbarian - good health and aoe attacks Fighter - well thats what you want Rogue - as I mentioned above, you can put him in fullplate if you wish Above all - Have FUN!

I am playing monk as my main right now and I must say that fire godlike is great choice for monk, I got hit quite a lot because i got kind of dps build an once i hit half endurance +4 damage reduction kicks in and you stop loosing that endurance so fast and also stil lgot plenty of wounds to kick ass. I also got swift strikes to but I have to get on next level that anguish thing, looks really strong. I didnt pump might but i got 20 dex so he attack fast like machine gun with two weapon style talent. Still, its good to have at least leather armor or you will be dropping low too fast. I am tempted to try scion of fire as next talent to get more from turning wheel, but dont know how goot it will be, will report later
