I feel really out of reality, there must be something important I am missing we got SJW guy who is going to strip clubs for good talks (yeah sure) preaching about how bad is having strippers in games then we have guy who is saying that in game stripper is here for appeal of man who at same time point out that some women likes to look on other womens as well and I have problems to understand written text? seems so, can someone explain it to me? (honestly, I am not native speaker (clearly)) -

Obviously, women who find other women attractive don't exist outside of porn. Well this is new meta in mental gymnastics so to sum it up: strippers in games are mysoginic because they are here to appeal man real world strippers are strippers because they enjoy it and other women enjoy it but it doesnt have anything to do with man ok, i am moving along... -

...Fictional strippers entirely brought into existence by men, to increase a game's appeal for men is somewhat different from real life, living, breathing, flesh-and-blood people choosing to do that job because - Heavens forbid! - they enjoy it. Yes right, they would be strippers even if men would not exist xD -

Hm, well, I think they still are - was not really sure what one counts as being successful so I ran with something quantitative. But then again, perhaps I can't see it from outside of the hobby. Yeah, I should not used word sucessful but I am now struggling to find correct word -

Do you think that? You seem pro Anita and her kind. This is her kind of opinion. Mmmm..I need to think about it I don't think I have ever been specifically against strippers in games and I do use adult mods so I can't claim to be opposed to it....yet I am opposed to certain cases of objectification of women It gets complicated, I'll get back to you Well, at least we now know you are not eunuch, just hypocrite xD -

And that's a fair complaint in its way. But the problem is I see people complain that Bioware is recylcing their old games and then in the same breath that Bioware has moved away from the things that made their old games good. And just about every level of nitpick imaginable. And when that happens (IMO) the problem the critic has isn't really with the game anymore, they've got a grudge against the company that no game would fix. Plus " Bioware-Bashing " is vogue...it has become this way since many old school gamers feel betrayed by the perceived changes that Bioware has gone through around there game design Yes some criticism is valid but much of it is just fastidiousness But I'm lucky, I can easily say that BG2 (Viconia my love ) was the greatest RPG I have ever played yet I still enjoy the new Bioware games and I must add I respect them even more for the difficult and controversial decision they took to embrace certain SJ developments like same-sex relationship... IMO this was much harder to do than people realize So when I play there games I am entertained...not inspired...but I feel games should really only be about entertainment. If you expect anything more you will probably be disappointed Everyone have different tastes on what he consider entertaining. For example I am unable to enjoy shallow gameplay mechanics in favor to fancy graphics. Some people like simple games but shiny. Its a lot about personality, someone like chess other consider playing them pain rather then fun. Thats why there is problem with people converting their games to appeal audience which is opposite to their previous one and most of the times mutually exclusive

To be honest, if they really had hired erotic dancers, I think that would really have been unacceptable. But following the links, and looking at the models, I don't think that's the case. Can't say about the Nvidia party - but yeah, if they hired erotic dancers, I could see that being a problem at a work related party. Why it would be problem? So everyone can look at erotic dancers except game developers? LOL Because it's a work related party. I don't care if the erotic dancers are male or female, so it's not an "objectifying women" thing, I just don't think throwing a party with strippers is a smart thing to do if it is work related. For one, it's obviously bad P.R., but even if you ignore that, it's hardly very inclusive. There's bound to be people working at the company who have no desire to be at a party where there's semi-naked people. Now, of course, there are exceptions: if the company in question is, say, Brazzers - then yes, it would be appropriate, but this is NVidia. Of course, you could say: well, don't go to the party then. In answer to that: sure, if you don't want to make promotion in the company, then sure, don't go to the party. So some people are just touchy - yep pretty much summed up -

I wouldn't say that but both books\movies do resonate with millions of people Twilight is more a teenager attraction but 50 Shades really did well with women of all ages for a number of reasons So no need for literature elitism...just because you have disdain for something it doesn't mean its subpar Yeah you can buy billions handmade pictures all over the world from wide arrange of 'street artists' yet you really dont think they are better than what Piccaso did hu? quantity != quality

Direct link to Polygon? HERESY! xD

I get where you're coming from. With this game you may be waiting forever for the "definitive" version, though. The game is 3 years old and they still keep adding stuff to it periodically, so there's no telling when it will be possible to buy it with absolutely everything. Edit: Also, I was wrong, there are currently 9 major DLCs. I think there is 'complete' edition of first CK so I can still hope so, maybe once they get out CK3?
-
Not as far as I can see, only the old game. Yeah, it's only CK, not CK2. If you want CK2, you have to sign your fist born over to GabeN. Nah not going to buy another half product, I will wait for complete edition. Do someone know how much each DLC for CK2 cost? because there is already around 20+ as far as I know and if each is 5 bucks + then its really ton of cash for one game There are like 5 or 6 major DLCs that add scenarios and/or flesh out and add stuff to what were previously unplayable and/or minor cultures. Then there are about a billion DLCs that just add portraits, unit models, and songs. Wait until a Steam Sale and you can probably get the base game and all the major expansions for around $30 or $35, then just scoop up whatever culture's songs and portraits and graphics you care about the most for like 50 cents a pop. Yeah, would do if I know there would not be another DLC released in next week I am completionist I cant help myself

Heh I feel quite opposite. I feel that someone is forcing his political views on me by 'restricting' development of games they found offensive (hate-infused if you like). Take example of good old Fallout. Child killing was in the game, if this game was launched today, would it have lower scores because of it? I dont know but I believe it would, because its not politicaly correct to kill kids. And thus game would sell less and any other project would avoid it. (and I love to SMG those little thieving bastards in to face) -
There is something called restoration project for F2 which should bewhat you are looking for, also there is mod fallout ressurection which completely changes game. For more info contact mr.Lexx - he is expert on Fallout modding
