  1. Crucis, could you spoiler-tag post the dialog options you chose for avoiding the fight? I had 10 INT and at least 3 ranks (if not 4) in Honest and couldn't seemingly avoid the confrontation (not that I wouldn't have reloaded to kill the dragons )
  2. You can roll a Wizard and focus on self-buffs and summoned weapons (they are really powerful) or a Priest. Both can wear heavy armor, though getting high DPS from a Priest isn't easy.
  3. To say nothing of the numerous "still no fix for (insert bug here)" comments referencing stuff that was actually fixed but left out of the patch notes.
  4. I kept Raederic's Hold purposefully for that dagger. I sent in Edér alone (he was high-level enough to solo the frontal assault) and the dagger was unlocked before I got to Raederic himself.
  5. Or you could use the console to check them out, make a decision, and reload
  6. The problem with putting Deflection on DEX or PER is that RES would become useless, and the other stat would become too good unless you removed the bonus it already gives (and I think bonuses currently given are all fitting and good except the case in point, which isn't super fitting.) Perhaps swap Accuracy and Deflection across PER and RES? But honestly, would that make that much of a difference at this point?
  7. I could do exactly that with my armor in my current play through.
  8. Actually during the beta days there was an iteration of the beta in which PER gave +2 Accuracy per point. They changed it shortly thereafter because it was everyone's must-pump stat (+16 Accuracy from maxing out PER at character creation was massive), but instead of making a sensible change to +1 Accuracy, they changed it to +1 Deflection even though RES was already giving Deflection in the first place. This resulted in the (silly) system we had at launch, with two stats contributing to Deflection and none to Accuracy. Of course Deflection would stack (and enemies would have no Accuracy bonus from PER) so pure tanks were unbeatable. Add to that the poor A.I. that would make of tank and spank a winning strategy, and you get the need for a change. I've always considered Deflection on RES to be a matter of pure exclusion: Deflection had to be somewhere and all other stats were already doing something else (and fitting.) Not that I'm particularly bothered by it myself.
  9. Been like that since 3.0 (it was reported during the beta days); hopefully 3.02 fixes it.
  10. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Look for trouble (plenty to go around where you are right now; all druids should be already hostile.) As you enter combat, activate Pallegina's Sacred Immolation ability. Observe that everytime Sacred Immolation hit, Pallegina's "friendly fire" bark triggers (i.e. she speaks her voiced lines that complain about friendly fire.) Kinda silly that she'd complain about being hit by her own ability, especially when you consider its effects on her are beneficial
  11. Speaking of magma blights (hence on a mildly related note), they don't seem to have a bestiary entry at all.
  12. The game had a number of sound files for NPCs that were never hooked up and never played. Among them, comments on your progression restoring Caed Nua; guess that's what Aloth's remark is (barks for clicking repeatedly on a character and for friendly fire were hooked up in 3.0.) Perhaps firing it every time you visit the stronghold is a bit too often?
  13. More like ... inaccurate? 30 was always the maximum base Accuracy, and all of my characters display their base Accuracy correctly in the breakdown (but that's after starting afresh post 3.0.) With older saves I get 5 more base Accuracy than I should for each character, but not 15.
  14. Unfortunately I have already overwritten that save If nobody else can provide one, I'll try to load an older save and get to that point over weekend. From there, reproducing the issue is very easy.
  15. Many of the fixes I would call pretty major, actually
  16. Spending a talent point is a cost. And the difference in power level is negligible anyway.
  17. Nah, those aren't really coming into it itt
  18. Typos here plz: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/77064-translation-errors-missing-translations-english/page-6?do=findComment&comment=1783305
  19. It probably will. Scaling ups the ante by 33% (if PotD is any indication, the ante is enemies' Accuracy and Defenses.)
  20. Psychic Backlash leaves that square. I could repro 100% of the times when fighting the bounty in Cilant Lis; Durance would get hit by Psychic Backlash systematically when trying to cast Painful Interdiction and the icon would stick after the battle ended. Saving and reloading would turn the icon into a white box.
  21. Very old bug. Don't think it'll be fixed at this point
