RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I don't want ****ty DRM on my south park game. What a shait. Ubisoft sucks. Relic, what madness have you done... Ubisoft dropped thier DRM big time, you just activate the game once from uplay and then you dont need to go online ever. (unless you want multiplayer or updates) Edit: It's a sad day indeed, goodbye THQ and good luck to all its employees

What are you playing now?
Fallout Tactics Avernum Saga. Maybe Heroes 6 though not good as previous games. Also there is a new "indie" coming named Omerta: City of Gangster on gog.com. Seems like a nice game but gonna released end of this month.

Your soulstone - like a New Vegas Pipboy for PE?
cyberarmy replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A good looking journal/book would suffice methinks. They really don't need to invent the wheel again. That soulstone of your a bit sounded like a medieval tablet ( Dont get me wrong Pipboy is already something like an old school tablet) And while i'm sure we can solo Eternity's content, this game is commonly party based so everyone in our merry band going to need one of those.

What are you playing now?
There is a program called Shadow Keeper which can be used to modify characters. You can change your thief to assassin Edit: I'm playing Divinity 2 Directors Cut nowadays, bought it in gog.sales weeks ago, wasn't able to play it on my previous rig but having no problems now. A good game, gave me some Gothic vibe.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
One of my favorite Turn-Based Adventure/Tactics mix. Great atmosphere, good story, very satisfying combat, cool companions. Go get it on GoG. Gorki and Incubation with Wilderness missions are great games. There was a similar game too which i forgot its name. We were defending some lunar/martian base which was attacked by aliens... It had 2d graphics. Edit: I also have a soft spot for X-Com Aftermath.liked it a lot than previous games and played it for a good time! Hopefully we are some incoming turn-based games coming in 2013-14

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Yeah, previous years were a bit dry and shallow for gaming, thanks to kickstarter and some decent studios we are going to have 2 splendid years. Both 2013-2014 going to be great it seems. Can you guys name games you remembered from 2011? I can only remember Witcher 2, Skyrim, Deus Ex HR, Batman AA, Portal 2, To the Moon and Dark Souls.

It's kind of cool when you're crouching in the bushes and you hear a growl not too far away from you. Next thing you know a tiger's attacking you. Its cool if its on solid ground, at least a little warning. I have at least 2 heart attacks while underwater thanks to our croc and shark friends. BTW there are lots of snakes in old ruins/temples, especially in main quest related ones. Some of them buggers hid themselves good...

Anti-Dragon Age 2?
If it was called something like Kirkwall Chronicles or something like "A New Path" or "Hawke and his/her merry band" maybe people (myself included) enjoyed it more. But its a bit too late. I just want them to take their time with DA3...

Economy & Difficulty
I like "harder" economy idea. Higher prices, consumables have limited numbers, shops don't buy everything or they buy it for much more less. About Adcenturers Hall, it is already something optional. As a fan even i don't think to use it on my first play through. If someone wants that place have limitied access they can just avoid the place for good.

Beasts of Burden and "Stash" Inventory
I concur with AGX-17 on mule thing. As for our stash, it can be simple a bag/chest of holding that we need some preparations before taking any objects inside so we need some free time/space.

Project Eternity Update #36: Off to our elfhomes, but first...
I hope there'll be some sort of flanking bonus for other classes as well. I'm not actually terribly fond of the rogue = main damage dealer mindset prevalent in rpg's of today, but I can understand the reasoning. Rogues are hardly main damage dealers nowadays, its generally two handed weapon/dual wield using warriors, especially in late levels whlie casters rule mid levels and they are easier to use than rogues. Most of rogues damage lost when they are against undead/mechanic enemies and in large battles. I end upusing rogues for mainly their utility nowadays. I would like to see some rogue love in damage/playability wise, like a real fencer/musketeer type with lots'o dirty tricks.
