Intelligent, Dangerous Undead
cyberarmy replied to septembervirgin's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A powerfull vampire, liches, banshees even a Dracolich maybe. But we are not sure yet how this setting will handle undead. they dont even include vampires, banshees. Maybe soulless people become some intelligent undead like monsters after a while? Or maybe a powerfull soul set itself free from the cycle and start harvesting souls to empower itself more and starts a war against gods?

Paladins and Bards
I only liked paladins for one reason. Holy Avengers! IWD 1&2 and BG2. As a long time P&P player i find paladins generic, boring and easly predictable at best. This is mainly our main GMs fault who is a paladin lover and often desings game around them ...

The Monk Class
It probably takes years of punching trees too be able to punch like that. Heh, the first time i punched someone in the face i damaged myself more than him probably. I wasnt able to hold mouse properly for 2 days. The horror! Im pretty ashamed of myself because one of my grandfathers could easily K.O. cows with just slapping("The Ottoman Slap" we call it here) He "trained" himself by slapping marble blocks.

Why wouldn't they make expansions available on GOG but only on Steam? Is there any reason for imagining this kind of scenario? Insanity?

The Monk Class
You are assuming EVERYONE can punch/kick like that. And i really dont know why somebody thinks there have to be only Europe standarts on medievelish settings. Asia existed in that era/age too(also Arabs, Aztecs, Native Americans,İndians Aborjins etc.), and they discovered fireworks/gunpowder usage.

Paladins and Bards
Well a heavy melee focused priest can be count as paladin in PE it seems. (after the new update) And that Cadegun lady already looking like a warrior inquisitor with her rifle&armor&relic already. And maybe we can make a rogue or mage bardlike maybe, using party wide buffs, investing in lore and knowladge and using crossbows. Also we can use spells in chain mail here! I cant really think another main class archatype to add here and if we have got something like "prestige" classes we can cover hybrid classes.

Cipher Class
Hımm what about soulles husks, undeads and animals. It seems like we can use only our own soul in situations like this. Or we can manipulate our party "friends"es souls for usage. :insertevillaugh:

Wizard class thread
Casting some "Luck" spells before card/casino games would be nice Or basic mind-tricks like charm/intimidate/bluff. Gandalf's intimidation in Fellowship of The Ring is a good example.

Dear OP have you played any Obsidian games. Even Dungeon Siege 3 which is an action oriented game has better writing and stories than some so called RPGs. You are just over reacting or trolling (1 post ...)

Generic fantasy setting?
I really dont understand just having elves, dwarves, goblins, dragons make games "generic". %99 of RPGs (hell even all game tpyes) include humans. Therefore they are all generic!
