Let's be even more radical on inventory design...
I concur. The inventory system at this moment seems extremely tacked on.

This game needs polish!
Yeah, Obsidian is really going to just be twiddling their thumbs from now until launch. If it comes out in mid-November, that gives them maybe three and a half months before gold. If it's December, that's four. So far, none of these bugs are things that should take more than a few days to weeks.

This game needs polish!
I would hope - this being the beta and all - that people will be honest about the flaws. Otherwise it won't get fixed because Obsidian will think its okay. Fully agree. 1) Nobody is saying you should not be addressing the games flaws. What we're saying is that if you expected it to be "more done", then you were fooling yourself. I'm sorry that you are now facing the realities of making a complex product, but these are the realities. 2) The idea that Obsidian won't do **** if we don't report it is complete bull. This is their job.

Experience point system in the beta and onwards
And while I don't think we'll see Enemy EXP in PoE 1 (it seems like one of those things that would need to have been implemented on day one), we possibly could see it in PoE 2 if people start lopping off heads.

Infinity Engine Continuum
I don't even know how to respond to this. ... what did you expect?

This game needs polish!
Come on man, they sent like 4 guys to one of the largest press events in PC gaming for a long weekend to plug it so they can actually sell it to more than just the backers. They're doing their job. They are also video game developers that have to deliver a hugely ambitious project independent of publisher or VC money. They do have a lot on their plate regardless. To think developing video games is easy is foolish.

Decent AI scripts for party members in the final release
If they are not in now, I doubt they'd find their way in. We're so close to release that I doubt it's a quick programming fix.

Experience point system in the beta and onwards
I cannot form a valid opinion until the Quest bug is fixed. Man, I sound like a broken record.

First impressions thread!
Talking to Lord Harod/Harold/???, the writing takes the very, very complex concept of the poor and/or ignorant masses having rivalry with the rich and cultured out of some personal insecurities... and weaves it in a few simple sentences as to not only get that across, but make it very eloquent and understandable.

It seems to me that the biggest problems in the game are the most difficult to "fix."
Stealth "you should have not shown it to the press" thread.

Yup, that's exactly what I think. Yeah. This.

Character creation - totaly confused about stats
I was wondering about that very question during character creation, myself. Given that many RPG players are going to be coming in with the assumption that Might = Strength, it might not hurt to make this explicit in the Might description in-game? Say that it increases physical and magical damage, rather than simply "damage." I second this. As much as people don't like **** being streamlined, you guys of all people know that you need to dumb it down as much as possible (and before anyone asks, no, "dumb it down" does not mean strip it of all function so those with the IQ of 20 can use it).

Balancing: Monks
Wounds were a nice idea, but in a game where you have a party of four to six, it gets way too micromanagey.
-
Experience Point Mechanics - Fighting Enemies
I still can't accurately judge this mechanic until they fix the XP/Quest bug.

With all of the classes now covered to some degree, what are your initial plans for your party(ies)?
Chanters are getting nerfed. Word of God. Honestly, let's speak in Real Talk. They are way too overpowered. Paladins are balanced. But Chanters are way OP. I dislike both Monk and Cipher. I don't want to have to micromanage a party members metagame playstyle in order to even be able to use them effectively. One guy in my stream made a comment that was both funny and poignant: "Rangers can summon a bear, but Druids can be a bear."

Disappearing Quests
Man, this has been stopping almost ALL streams I've been watching in their tracks.

Free Adventurers for Beta
Yeah, this was clearly a design decision to cast as wide a net for beta as possible.
