  1. I ended up with Mordor. I'll get Earth once I nab a Halloween Job.
  2. And it's not exactly like Mojang wasn't not rolling in the damn dough before. Some mental giant on NeoGAF actually said that him having money is why he was a verbally abusive husband.
  3. I backed WL2 purely out of inertia and Kickstarter Game Dev Hype. It was right off DFA (which, by the way, what a let down in every sense). I'm so glad I did. InExile's work ethic, attitude (even if Fargo is needlessly vengeful sometimes), and the game made me a fan for life.
  4. Okay, guys, Real Talk Time. I got paid for selling my body for science today. Since they gave me exactly one penny less than what I would need for Mordor and Civ Earth (on a pre-paid card), which do I buy? I plan on buying either Godzilla or Costume Quest 2 for a friend after that.
  5. The game that literally ruined Curt Schilling. Burn it. Oh God, it's true isn't it? It's so true.
  6. You know, due to my Asperger's, you'd think I'd give much more of a damn about continuity in books. That and I'm a huge geek. We're talking just above knowing who the best Dr. Who companion to cosplay is, but below mad that white comic book characters are played by black men.
  7. It's weird because I always move My Documents to the new drive. Moving Steam did it.
  8. Its. Its customers. Acting like a company is a person and wuvs you is the same as hating EA. *rolls eyes*
  9. unfortunately,no matter how many people want or do an official Kotor 3,you can't do that unless you have full permission from Disney and EA to use the copyrighted material it's insane i know, they shouldn't even have control over that material because they didn't created it. in the videogame market,if you try to do a thing on your own that starts from owned content like Kotor 3,when Disney will know your progress it will stop you, because they own it. if i had enough money i would buy Star Wars and immediately start the development of Kotor 3,Battlefront 3 and Republic commando 2 put it like this, even if you make a food that is remotely similar in taste and smell to the original company one, they will sue you, even if you did it because you wanted to do something new. companies are ****,greedy fat ass whores that choke whatever guy is trying to do in good faith Everything you post is amazing.
  10. So, even though most of my games are located on my D drive, Steam is still on my C (my SSD), and so a few save files and such still go there. My SSD drive is running out of room fast. I'm wondering if moving Steam will also cause those tetriary game files to move? (why are there outlines.)
  11. Ready for this? I'm about to blow your mind.... Name one "gamer" that matches that definition. That's exactly the issue. You can't. Because no one has any misogynistic issues. The perceived misogynistic issues are being manufactured by pointing at nameless or nobody trolls in random comments, the very same trolls who would purposefully say ANYTHING purely to antagonize and not because they mean it. I sincerely doubt you can name a significant figure within the entirety of the video game industry who is openly misogynistic. DAT BLOW UR MIND?? Oh wait, you're serious when you think this is a valid argument and not a logical fallacy.
  12. I don't quite understand. You don't need a physics engine for a flight spell. This is an isometric game, there's no vertical space.
  13. Microsoft may be buying Mojang. This would actually shock me or be news in general if Mojang was not Mojang.
  14. Hmm a good RPG is just Good. Some modern RPGs dont have a Free World - I dont Play them like what happened from Witcher 1 to Witcher 2 and Gothic 1-3 to Risen Some RPGs dont have Sound and exciting Gameplay - So.. same thing Good Games have Deep Gameplay, a Free World AND.. Good Gameplay. because of that they are Good And I hoped that crowdfunding will do that, but err.... Not really what happened to it all. .... Just because it's through crowdfunding does not mean they can do whatever they want. There is still a budget. Sometimes I honestly wonder what the hell people think the financial goal means.
  15. Prepare for disappointment. Josh is his employee, and most likely a good friend. What you're doing is trying to be an **** for the sale of being an ****. Feargus isn't going to give you any answer that you'll find "correct". He's not going to throw Josh under the bus, or fire him, or whatever. So by even asking this question, you already know the answer, so you're just doing it to be a gigantic ****. Or you actually think Feargus is going to put Josh in time-out.
  16. You're assuming the stuff I'd do is bad. There's plenty of **** in the Bible that makes you a sinner for no reason. You know, like not stoning women and such.
  17. The idea that people need the threat of punishment to be good is bull****. Anyone that actually goes around thinking they need, say, religion in order to not kill themselves or go on a killing spree needs help. If I knew God existed - a literal God - I wouldn't change who I was just to appease some dude.
  18. If you have to encourage exploration through the jimmy of killing things, that's bad design. No it's not.. some people don't enjoy exploration without a goal.. If everyone hates your exploration system without beetles to kill then yes it may be time to revise.. But you really need to stop speaking in absolutes.. There is a huge percentage of players who just don't enjoy exploration of a fantasy world inherently fun but still love the IE games.. you can't discount them just because it's not what you enjoy about the game. How was replying to one guys specific example an absolute?
