Who needs this? Considering the sexism in the industry, the industry does. Inclusion and diversity only help. Care to elaborate on the sexism part? Is it worse than the pharmaceutical industry, mining, engineering or any other sector? How do you measure it to begin with, what are the metrics? Why is inclusion and diversity necessary in itself? What instrinsic value is there to divide humans in a sector into different classes and genders instead of treating them like persons? Sexism in any industry is ridiculous, but we're talking about video games here.

Achievements are already in. Achievements doesn't count as anti-social annoyances, ehrm, I mean "social features", unless there is an option to automatically broadcast the achievement on to social media. Not to sound pro-Zynga or whatnot, but most of those you can turn off. A lot of people complain about features that are optional.

I would be surprised if the Keep didn't ask about every single decision from every game. I mean, what would the point be?

In this case, a decision that was not in the best interests of Obsidian, it's backers/fans or the game. Does OE really want the world to see the let's plays going up on Youtube, only to end on the 2nd or 3rd video with a declaration that "sorry, the game's just unplayable". Because that's just one of the unfortunate outcomes of their decision. Unfortunate. Well. You wanted to know how video games were made. Presumably. Because you paid for the beta and watched the updates. So don't get pissed off when how games are made does not line up with your vision of how they are made.

It's a very good game in a very unstable wrapper. I'm not touching the beta again until I see what is in the first update. The most glaring thing is the quest bug where your journal keeps resetting.
