Definitely Dragon Age.
Bioware has three games in my all-time top six. They have the track record, the autonomy, the talent, and the size to create games that can meet bloated expectations.
I'll end up getting both though.
A shameless plug of a poll that's not getting any love.
Purposely kept it on the xbox forum so it won't get too much spam. But really, it's not getting enough.
For once I agree with you. The chronicles make no sense to me at all. They seem like an alternate universe to the games and the stories they tell.

That's deep, man.
That's because it has been proven to be a buggy game with no patch in sight. Assuming the PC version of TSL runs relatively smoothly, you'll buy it.
Plus, you've admitted you dislike the Vampire setting. But since you've played KOTOR1, that indicates at the very least that you're not against the Star Wars setting.

OT
Activision/Troika just released the official patch for VTM: Bloodlines.
I'm not going to dispute Atris wearing dark clothing, (I've always seen her in white) but in conversation with Kreia, it was alluded that Atris took up the mantle of Darth Traya when she fell to the dark side.
Ok, enough fun...
Atris became Darth Traya after Kreia lost her connection to the force. Kreia takes back the title after you resolved your affair with Atris.
That's not true. They changed it. The off hand attack deals less damage than the main hand attack while using double-bladed weapons.
I prefer going singleweaponed. Old Skool style.
