  1. Tell that to the Roman pagans.
  2. Whether Bastila is coming back or not is a spoiler. Otherwise Obsidian would have revealed her fate already.
  3. That's not being very lightside is it? Or be like Jolee.
  4. Haven't heard too many good things about the Fall. As for Vampire, it's a decent game, but hardly GOTY quality. It may get pc rpg of the year due to lack of competition.
  5. he wouid'nt tell me if bastila was back <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Assuming he does have it, I'm pretty sure he won't reveal that tiny little spoiler.
  6. You won't have much to fear. This game will be quite combat heavy. It won't have the Star Wars aesthetics otherwise.
  7. A Jedi cares not for rewards.
  8. Wasn't this so...two days ago?
  9. Heretic.
  10. The power to kill kinraths from 200 yards away...with Force Mind Bullets.
  11. This is actually very useful.
  12. Nothing here to see people. Move along.
  13. ...well, Akari is already Darth Taylor.
  14. Thats a joke right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look at the clues... 1) Double-bladed lightsaber 2) Female If that's not undeniable proof, the what is? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's just stupid. Did she suddenly age 20-30 years in a five years period?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Undeniable proof... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd have to agree with Biscuit here. The proof is quite undeniable. Quite Undeniable.
  15. I've been trying to find this quiz that people keep on talking about. I've been to the lucas arts homepage but I still can't find it. Can anyone give me directions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The questions pop up randomly. You'll see a small orb pop up from the bottom of the screen. It'll flicker in different colors like blue and red. Click on it. Keep at it until you get a "reward".
  16. There does seem to be some of that going on. On the official site, where they ask you some questions --trying to gauge your alignment, they asked what I though was an interesting question: An informant demands that you pay him x credits to reveal information about a crime lord. Do you pay him off and hunt down the crime lord, or do you tell him to shove off ---knowing that he might be lying and or that if the crime lord finds out, that informant would be killed off.
  17. Well, they seem to be playing up the whole "grey moral" angle for K2. What you think is right might not actually be whats right. Whos to say that maybe a Jedi ::cough:: WHC ::cough:: isn't trying to do something horrible that she thinks is good. Maybe Sith lords, for their own reasons, are trying to stop her making it seem like shes in the right. I don't think there will be any "winners" in K2 and I don't think that knowing who is "the bad guy" will be as easy as every seems to think. At least, I think it will be hard to see who is pulling all the strings, a la The Emporer <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Moral ambiguity? In a Star Wars game??
  18. I don't know that answer. But I'm sure this site does!
  19. The boy just needs to grow up. Give him ten or so years. I'd imagine that there would be atleast 2 different endings with variances of each.
  20. I would like to see Captain Needa and Admiral Ozzel duking it out on the bridge of the Executor. With Lord Vader as referee.
  21. Thre was definitely humor in the old Black Isle games. But not in the over-the-top Bioware style.
  22. Fallout was about making choices that affects the game world. The individual choices and actions you made in the game had consequences that could affect either individuals, groups, or places. After you beat the game, there was a series of slides that tells you what happened to these characters that you encountered. What happened to these towns that you stopped by. Not everyone got the same slide because people played the game differently. MCA was implying that we should expect something like that for this game, while still maintaining the cinematic spirit of the movie endings. How they do that, I don't know. Bioware in keeping with their homage to the original trilogy, made two endings reminiscent of the films.
  23. Chris A said: "I don't know if you've ever played Fallout, but if you haven't, you should. One of the best role-playing games ever made. In any event, one of the many cool things about Fallout (which may have been done in previous games that I am ignorant of) is that the choices you made with each city you visited in the game caused a different splash screen at the end of the game, describing what happened to the locale in the future as a result of your actions. The same sort of effect is present in Kotor2, though it does not only apply to planets and their people, but it also extends to your companions as well, depending on how you treated them or how horribly you broke them to your will - if they survived at all. Splash screens didn't mesh with the Star Wars aesthetic though, so we had to pick a different means of displaying the information within the genre aesthetics. In any event, I wanted to let you guys know so that aside from: Your character's gender, your character's light side/dark side leanings, the 4 different answers to your questions about what happened in K1, you ALSO get variations based on how you solved each planet and how you dealt with each of your companions, so the permutations can get extensive." Basically it was a series of powerpoint slides. Star Warshish = LUKE: Ow! Luke wriggles his fingers, makes a fist, and relaxes it. His hand is completely functional. He gets up and walks over to Leia. There is a new bond between them, a new understanding. Leia is thinking about Han; Luke is thinking about his uncertain and newly complicated future. Together they stand at the large window of the medical center looking out on the Rebel Star Cruiser and a dense, luminous galaxy swirling in space. Luke puts his arm around Leia. The droids stand next to them, and Threepio moves closer to Artoo putting his arm on him. The group watches as the Millennium Falcon moves into view, makes a turn, and zooms away into space. EXTERIOR: SPACE -- REBEL STAR CRUISER While Luke, Leia, and the droids stand, looking out the window of the star cruiser, two escort fighters join the large ship. Slowly, the cruiser turns and moves away into space. DISSOLVE TO: EXTERIOR: GALAXY -- SPACE END CREDITS FADE IN AND OUT OVER BACKGROUND *edited to include quotes and shooting script.
