  1. I'm going through it a 2nd time, as a Sentinel, with having nobody in my group unless I'm forced to, with the setting on Difficult, and its still easy. I don't know why I bother. Yes, why do you bother? The reason why I would replay the game is so I can learn more about my companions.
  2. Press the white button to pause. Press the X button instead of the A button to que up your action. It was explained in the tutorial and in the manual.
  3. "32 hours... As you can see I haven't been playing nonstop like most of you. I live with 2 major halo 2'ers so I split time. I played M DS Guardian/Maradeur and I have a couple of questions. First of all can anybody give me an insight on just what happened? What happens to the ebon hawk and my teamates? I'm assuming nobody really nows but I can hope otherwise. Second, I never got a chance to train a Jedi, I'm assuming I never had enough influence on anyone. The only character I really had alot of influence on was Visas and she is already Jedi." 32 hours for the first play through seems very short. That would explain not training any jedi. There are several discussions going on in in the storyline and spoiler forums with regards to "what happened".
  4. This sounds trite but KotOR was Star Wars and TSL was the ESB. I like them both for different reasons and it is a matter of taste as to which you would prefer.
  5. Try the Entertainment module.
  6. "Oh shut up, this is the spoiler forum, ITS ALL ALLOWED!" http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=26225 "When titling threads, please do not include the spoiler itself. The titles can be seen from outside this thread. The topic description however can't be seen, but again I would ask that people not place the spoiler info in there as there are people who will come here for specific items, and don't want to be spoiled for the other areas."
  7. More closure? More explanations? What more do you want? You get told explicitly what happens to every character and to every planet that you visited.
  8. I'm curious, but did you get this sort of thing when you finished the game? Because I got it and I liked it.
  9. "you may feel jipped and angry" My bad. I misread your "and" to think it was or.
  10. It's a pity that there are no rumors about BG3. ...not that I'm expecting it to be developed by Bioware.
  11. I would have to say that I prefered Jeremy Soule's electronic music from the first game. I was expecting more from an orchestra backed soundtrack.
  12. Speak for yourself. I liked the ending.
  13. Kreia. Hands down.
  14. The Kotor games by their very nature are easy. They are By FAR the easiest RPG's I've ever played. But I would guess that was a design decision meant to frustrate as few people as possible and garner more gamers into the mix.
  15. "Good points Drac. I mean, I too was enamored in the first 20 hours of gameplay in K2. The game was absolutely on fire. Then towards the latter half, it just went down hill and never recovered. Your opinion might change after you finish the game. We'll see." I didn't get that impression at all. When you hit the climax, things naturally accelerate towards the ending. The pieces fall into place and the PC starts to act with more resolve and with righteous fury. ...well, that's how I played it.
  16. So then I guess you could say it would win for best AND worst game of the year for you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm...you is being tricksy. That would correct. Although I would have to say that I would just vote for it being GOTY. Not anti-GOTY. I'd abstain from that vote.
  17. I'd vote TSL as #1. Though, it is the ony xbox game I bought this year...
  18. This was the impossible part for me. I played DS consular, and sacraficed DS for gaining influence, thinking it would be meaningful. In the end, I didn't get the benefits of either the party story depth or the advantages of being extreme DS like <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why I liked it. It really puts making some meaningful choices into the game-and dealing with the fallout regarding those choices. What's more important to you: attaining mastery or influence? Would you rather have Handmaiden, Visas, or Mira liking you? Who do you have adventuring with you and who do you leave behind at the Ebon Hawk? It makes choosing more meaningful within the game context. Chris A makes the effects of influenc quite clear here.
  19. Well you could cover it up.
  20. I really liked it. It sucks because it is inconvenient in that you don't get every option you want. BUT, it puts some more meaningful roleplaying and a premium on choice.
  21. What and where is the one optional? I never even knew it existed. Better put in the spoiler black out.
  22. Do what Boiler said and just play the game normally. You'll hit it. I assure you.
  23. From what I understand, it's a matter of influence. Gaining influence on one character may lose influence over another. I could only train one jedi. Next time, I should be more mindful of my roleplaying choices in gaining influence.
  24. If you believe in the opinions above and believe that you won't enjoy the game because of those problems, then no. It won't be worth it. If you think the factors above won't get in the way of your enjoyment, then it is worth it. ...of course, countless others have enjoyed the game tremendously. And there have even been reports of people playing it bug-free.
